This is a recurring issue for me and I’ve been suffering with it for a couple of years 😢 I did this exercise for 5 mins and it literally worked and released my shoulder immediately! Thank you sooo much for sharing 🙏🏻😊

I am 56 and in good health. I have had frozen shoulder's with both shoulder's due to repetitive motion ( job related) requiring surgery to remidy. I am completely recovered and no longer doing that career. Would this be a safe exercise for me to do?
I also found that walking up the wall with my had stretched and gave me more flexibility.. Most important….if it hurts…STOP. In any stretch, it should not hurt.
Ok, that helped! Discovered very localized deep burning achy spot between scapula and spine. Don't know how I could have done it but wonder if I tore my rhomboid again, so made appointment with MD.
Love this stretch and am doing it with a swiffer stick 😂 also try to warm up before stretching to get everything flowing and moving. Apparently warming up prevents injuries.
455lb+ bencher who neglected shoulder mobility for years thanks for this. I could get my hand half way down my trap over top but I can’t even get my other hand to my belt behind my back lol

I have a question my SI joint has been out of place for years Chrios have not been able to fix and injections have not helped. Any recommendations for stretches' or movements that may help. its my upper left part of teh SI I have tried a few but only once 6 years ago got it to thunk in to place. I have Arachnoiditis of the lower lumbar so no sudden movements because of the scar tissue @bob&brad Thank you guys you have helped me in several of other issues and have recommended you to my PM and Nerou Doctors for their other patients
bob/brad, when you have squat problems because the shoulder can't get the bar in the neck, is putting the bar in your neck and still trying it a good exercise? I don't get in enough, but I can do it for 10 seconds without weight almost in the right position. Or is this exercise better? Or any other?

I used to be able to touch on one side years ago lol.
A resistance band seems to work too. I double up a blue one.
