I live in Chiang Mai Thailand, I got nature up the ass, my home has 20 different species of ants, a collection of spiders with the occasional scorpion. Geckos are my constant companions regardless of how many I kill daily. I keep 2 Mongooses to ward off the cobras that occasionally visit me, best investment I ever made. My rice fields are the home to tens of thousands of frogs, the cacophony of croaking coming from the rice field at night wakes up the dead and is the reason we have many different kinds of ghosts in Thailand. Now that you can't sleep at night because of the frogs, the god damn birds start their day early before dawn screeching and fighting over the proverbial worm and then the village comes to life. I don't know about you but you can take nature and shove it. Bring me back to my apartment in Manhattan where it was peaceful except for the occasional shooting or sirens blaring, Ah to hear the sounds of the city and full into blissful slumber, Memories.
