ST driver is not a low profile job. Yes me agree with the salary structure, but It's a major responsibility job when you are carrying so many passengers on the trust of a huge machine and its a big challenge which mam has accepted that and that's truly admirable. Respect your driving teacher, listen to him carefully, inspect every ST parts before journey (majorly breaks), keep hydrated, keep safe distance and most imp 8 hrs of SLEEP is a MUST. So enjoy your EXCITING job😊👍 best of luck💐
@BBCmarathi, pls do take her interview again after 5 years of service with ST. We would get a comparison. For me personally it's not a success story. However, respect to that sister. It is still a brave decision and I wish happiness for her. All the best. Chase your dream sister.

In india females are flying fighter jets , commercial aeroplanes , even as railway engine driver,auto rikshaw driver. truck driver and now in state transport buses it's gr8.👍

Ridiculous decision. Doing some task for few times is different thing to explore but as day to day job it's not not at all desirable. Driving such a huge vehicle in traffic can be serious physical and mental trauma over the long run. And i have seen at drivers exploited way beyond their limits. No sane person will chose such life by option. For some it's necessity, not preferred option. Marketing job is hell but she can always switch job and profile to better one.
