Beresheet

An improvisation lecture in my Psychology of Music elective, a little bit too much caffeine, and then lockdown. And there we go. I write an improvisation piece for @ComposersOrchestra, following the creation account of the genesis (‘Beresheet’ in Hebrew). The piece is divided into six parts, one per day (minus number seven), each giving the players a couple of noteheads and instructions on what to do with them. The rest, we… well… improvise.
