- This is a compilation of every Keva Plank style building destruction I have made using Blender3D. Some of them I like and some of them I don't. I compiled these animations in order of my favorite to least favorite.

I am a Blender rookie teaching myself how to use Blender. I am posing my animations on this channels for people to see and critique.

It's me childhood videos🫵🏻
0:46 this was your best favorite because its almost the same as 9/11 except it got hit at the ground too
It is my favorite among the ones in this video because it's the most visually and audiologically appealing IMO. But any semblance to 9/11 is purely coincidental and has no affect on my preference.
Ok
0:45 maybe a bit too soon on the 9/11 reference
A lot of people make that comparison. It's been 16 years. But it wasn't my intention to make that connection.
Mr. Mopenshine YT
Wait 0:45 is the 9/11
My best favorite is your intro that 3 balls hit a gray cube and your channel name
Really?
Yep
0:47 this building looks oddly familiar...
Ah yes! The Kolechian Bank Tower!
I have never heard of that tower.
@@BlenderRookie u never went to kolechia then lol anyways u destroyed my country's Rival's Bank Tower, thanks (they igtg rebuild it though)
6:12 how did the building collapsed when the ball touched the building the marble was so slow
The building was unstable. It was a bad build. Normally it won't just collapse like that.
Interesting stuff; I am at the begining of studying these. Could you please put some references upon the software used? Does it have the possibility to model real connections and behavior?
The only software I use is called "Blender3D" and the link is in the description. Yes, it can simulate actual connections. Within the rigid body system there are constraint settings that can be used to create flexible, unbreakable and breakable connections.
Thank you!
You should make one with dust and smoke
I have made one or two with smoke and I'd like to make more but smoke takes so long to render. Eevee renders smoke a lot quicker but the physics engine doesn't work as well in 2.8 as it does in the previous version. I'm sure those bugs will get worked out in time.
@Ashton Lovell What links? Links to blender? In the description.
Do you have to animate every single piece?
No the only thing you have to animate is whatever you're throwing at the building to destroy it. All the parts of the building you basically just apply a physics attribute to it and then gravity and physics take over.
that red one was your least favourite?
Yeah. I hate it. I almost didn't upload it. But hey, several other people like it. It's subjective.
if its that red ball falling inside of the tower i love it
Do you use Cyberlink Power director too?
Yes. I started using PowerDirector a few years ago and I love it.
In the first tower how did you make the floor lights on each floor also how did you make them turn off as they fell?
Just used a plane and an emission shader. Parented the plane(light) to the bottom of the floor plank. I keyframed the emission strength to make it go out.
Try out Besiege, please
Are you talking about the game?
@@BlenderRookie yeah. It's even better than this simulator. There are cars, trains, planes and helicopters... at all, tons of different interesting things. And you can also make buildings and bridges. You'll like it, I think
How did you set up the camera?
Staisfying.
Cool beans.
Make a game about this destruction things😙
If I knew how, I would.
Lol
You just get new subscriber! Can i have a love?
Here's some love,
Did you render this with Blender Render or in Cycles?
I think they were all cycles. I never learned blender render. When I first downloaded Blender and decided to learn 3D, which was about 14 months ago, all the tutorials I watched were with cycles. So that's what I learned. However, most of these were before I learned PBR and before the principled shader.
Blender Rookie I only ask as I couldn't see many signs of light bounces and knew that with your computer it might have taken a long time to render. Blender Render would be faster but not look as nice.
Yeah, that's another thing. Because I don't have a GPU, I rely more on good even lighting and less on shadows. Otherwise it would take me so many more samples in order to get the shadows to a point of acceptable noise.
What was the name of the first piece of classical music? I used to know the name of it but I forgot it. I know some was from the 1812 overture.
I don't remember. But I do think you're right about some of it being the 1812 Overture.
eiene kliene
It was Kleine Nactckmusick
The first one was fimilier to something but I don't Wana be rude.
Can't imagine what.
@@BlenderRookie XD
to many say its a 9/11 refrence but it wasnt lol
Half of the first one was standing lol
Yeah.
2017 pixel genocide (colorized)
I don't know what that means.
It was a joke. Actually, looking back on it, it's not all that funny.
@@gav1233 It probably just went over my head.
I used to get "whooshed", too.
@@gav1233 I have been wooshed so many times I am Bald. Lol
Your first one is 9/11
None of my simulation has ever been nor will they ever be of that event.
@@BlenderRookie It looked like 9 / 11. I don't mean it is. It just looks similar!
@@x86_architecture10 A lot of people have thought that I tried to recreate 911 in one of my clips. So it's not just you.
0:9
a zero out of nine... That's bad...
@@BlenderRookie i dont think he means it like that does he
@@1nd1a74 IDK because in an entire year he has not clarified.
@@BlenderRookie Actually. 10/10 ^w^
