I know i have commented here 2 years ago but i just want to say that, this video was a major part of my childhood Back then i used to watch this on my old house in my dad's old, red ASUS phone on my late mom's bedroom. I watched it so many times i didn't realize i was draining all of his data lmao. Instead of being mad he just stared at me with confusion. At first i thought this was a cool video but as i got older and watching this video again (like right now) i find a hidden message "Even the greatest empire falls". Whenever you're experiencing what is felt like your "peak" , enjoy it, cherish it while it last. You may never got the chance to have it again. Me, it's my childhood. I miss having fun. I miss not worrying about homework. I miss playing in the rain. I miss my PSP. I miss those times where everything is simple. I miss the morning smell of air. I wish i can go back.

With the 2080ti you could render it in 20 minutes or less and with the 3090 you can render it in 8 minutes. If you optimize it you can render it in 7 or 6 minutes :)
I found 2 apps! Demolish and demolition on App Store, i was so happy to find them because I loved watching this video years ago and thought it would be cool to do it myself
no fucking shit. that moment when a car is faster than a bicycle. this takes literally days to render and calculate the physics. video games run on 60 fps. get your head out of your ass.
Biggest problem is that you didn't wait to see the full effect of the shots. It felt like "Not falling? Shoot some more! WHY AREN'T YOU FALLING!" *Spams fire button* Seriously, It really pissed me off that you couldn't just wait a bit for it to gradually collapse, and just kept firing instead
I couldn't agree more with you, it annoys the crap out of me. I'm thinking about trying this for myself that way I don't have to watch 5 balls hit at once.
I started making similar videos at a lower quality and really enjoy it. Don't know why but hell it is fun destroying stuff with blender haha. Beautiful video, keep it up, never stop, this is by far the most fun I've ever had infront of a computer screen =)
Just discovered this channel last night. Gotta say, I love what your doing. Keep it up! I use Maya but blender looks pretty nice for this kind of thing. Maya has been giving me trouble lately with bullet >.>
0:35 OMG THATS THE TRIPLET TOWERS IN THE FUTURE! How do I know this? I am writing this comment the year this happened. Yes there is a giant ball coming in our direction. OH NO ITS GONA HIt o h goooooodddd. NOOfhfndbcncnfne cmc
Fascinating, hypnotic, beautiful, scary, disturbing. A lot of work and time. Did you choose the music too? Have you done any renderings that brought down the "planks" with the least number of spheres?
I like physics.................... I always wanted to do physics on the computer without no lag..... But know... There is a named Moby Motion where you can see awesome real like physics.

Who else imagined they where in a part of a building and seen if they survived ?
me
JOLLY OLD ALEX me
me.
Alan Svendsen Your not buddy ... every one i would pick a part of the building and try to see if i would of lived !
XD
Alan Svendsen
This was one of the most beautiful things I have ever watched. Thank you.
Aww that's so nice, thank you :)
Awesome dude

Everytime I watch these videos Im reminded of my life
Throwing balls at towers?
+Bingo Panic from the song or from the buildings falling?
yes
+Bingo Panic
everytime i watch videos of worthless pieces of shit i'm reminded of myself.
yeah, that really hits home man
“17 hours render time” is exactly why video games cat’t have these kinds of simulations.
With the 2080ti you could render it in 20 minutes or less and with the 3090 you can render it in 8 minutes. If you optimize it you can render it in 7 or 6 minutes :)
If you have a Ryzen 3600x and a 1060 3gb you can run a 5000 planks simulation in realtime :)
@@ViprazDesigns not in cycles
@@TorbTorb i said run it as in "simulate" it in realtime not render it in realtime
This is both beautiful and devastating at the same time.
Watching these videos is oddly satisfying and makes me want to give a go at this kind of rendering stuff.
ed, edd, and eddy character would be proud.
"Plank!!"
K mate
hey, pika, you are everywhere

Someone needs to make an app that lets you knock these structures down reply if you know of one
Yep ive always dream that world happen :P
Yep
This is Blender. I don’t think it can be rendered real-time for apps.
@Weekend Nick Of course that is possible, but with so many meshes, and in 3D?
I found 2 apps! Demolish and demolition on App Store, i was so happy to find them because I loved watching this video years ago and thought it would be cool to do it myself
I rate it 9/11 there should've been more planes.
this is the most relaxing thing I've ever watched
how do you not have more subs this is awesome
he only has 19K subscribers
P5534 7877 now 30K
Wow i cant believe im still watching this since when i was a kid
That moment when this is more realistic than most video games that try to be realistic
Well each little bit took more than much more than an hour to render.
no fucking shit. that moment when a car is faster than a bicycle.
this takes literally days to render and calculate the physics. video games run on 60 fps. get your head out of your ass.
Yeah but this isn’t rendered in realtime when games are. Out computers haven’t got enough graphic power to render this in real time.
idiotinium you could get similar results in almost real-time with baked physics in eevee
7:50 **Miami Condo Collapse flashbacks**
Moby Motion is the better than anyone else
Request:
Simulate real life framework of buildings and make a true falling tower with elevator shaft in red steel colour.
Love the depth of field effect. All very groovy.
i love the destruction keep doing the videos
BEST GAME OF JENGA I EVER WATCHED
This video is so soothing!
This video was so powerful I'm holding back tears
I love the slow motion effect!!
I have to admit this satisfied me
Brilliant work man !!!..}....it's simply shows that rendering time is not depend upon the no.of planks used 😃👍
Biggest problem is that you didn't wait to see the full effect of the shots. It felt like "Not falling? Shoot some more! WHY AREN'T YOU FALLING!" *Spams fire button* Seriously, It really pissed me off that you couldn't just wait a bit for it to gradually collapse, and just kept firing instead
I'm sorry, that probably sounded very rude. It just irritates me when someone can't wait for something to happen
Blabatron g
every 30 seconds is an hour or so of rendering
Blabatron there's no fire button in Blender tho
I couldn't agree more with you, it annoys the crap out of me. I'm thinking about trying this for myself that way I don't have to watch 5 balls hit at once.
such math, much physics! too algorythms! wow!

Why is this so satisfying

Heard this song yesterday and I remembered watching such videos in 2013
Is it weird I find this satisfying
Very relaxing. I've been using Cycles so much recently, I feel like using LuxRender or SLG again :)
+Christoffer Bader Yes! Results are much nicer

It's so beautifull, very good job, congratulations!!!
This reminds me of those building demolition videos
3:34 OH, CRAP!!! HIT THE DECK, EVERYBODY!!! IT'S GONNA BLOW!!!!!!!
"First plank falls out."
Tower: "It's all over, I now collapse"
It's a most satysfying video in the world.
i love the physics
I find this pretty relaxing
These things are so cool
Not only the art of physics but the music.....!
Very nice!
You could share it on Luxrender forums too, the developers always like to know that their work is being appreciated =)
+Daniel Moreira Guimarães Hadn't thought of that! I definitely appreciate the work that goes into LuxRender
I love the background music it's very nice and good for mediating

My TV was on and I was listening to the nationwide commercial while a building was getting knocked down on here.
THIS IS AWESOME
SUPERB! ITS AMAYZING!
One of them was 2016 planks. This was uploaded in 2016. We are watching this in 2016. Illuminati confirmed
666+666+666+6+6+6=2016
This deserves to be in a try not to get satisfied video. XDD
It’s times like this where you wish you had a 4K tv
You should include clips of each render at real speed too if possible. Great job I love your videos
+ynumikol It's actually quite hard to get the speed right! but yes I'll bear that in mind
Beautiful the video!
Me every single time a building collapses: Well, there goes everyone's hopes and dreams of escaping
2016 planks omfg I'm watching in 2016 o:

why can't I stop watching these ffs
Fascinating, hypnotic, beautiful, scary, disturbing. A lot of work and time. Did you choose the music too?
Have you done any renderings that brought down the "planks" with the least number of spheres?
3 years rendering on my p4
is it done yet?
Brian Thul - yes it is
My childhood just watching keva planks in my old tablet 🤗🤗
Me too
my mind is blowing
The one with the 2016 bricks is like the year fine in the first part but destroyed halfway through
What ever happened to traditional jeinga
Why is How To Basic playing with Jenga blocks?

nice video!
+Oyun Kasıyo Thank you :) what clips did you like?
+Moby Motion all them:)
(I'm Turkish)
What music is used for this video?
The music is so calm, relaxing and very good at making people sleep faster at bed time.
I don’t understand why it takes so long to render. Can someone explain?
heck whats this sight called or is it not a sight?
How did you made this video?
I've got a tutorial on my channel :)
YAY!
:)
+Hyper Titanic I've made a tutorial so you can do the same :)
Thanks
This was really cool. But dang some of these render time were painful to read, you should get yourself a RAID system.
so it took you on one tower 12 hours to build it???
this is in blender keva planks?
what is keva plank in german?
Satisfying
Did you use blender for this?
2:04 the ball is to cool to keep going into the building (buildin colapses)
I love destruction games, especially BeamNG.Drive
BeamNG.drive
What's the name of the song you used?
What is the song. It sounds very familiar
god the song makes me emotional. it sounds like it should be in the walking dead ona sad scene :'(
It's kind of satisfying
Amazing!!!!
the music is beautiful. Is there a track?
on 3:14 it said 2016 planks, and this year is 2016 that means some building gonna fall off on 2016
The music sounds like london grammar
3:17 of its a 2016 plank and it’s so tall then what would a 2018 plank look like
Where do you go to do this ? You guys should make a game about this !!!!
