- Bering 80 is currently the flagship of Bering's Expedition line of yachts, and carries the same bold, proud design, and fuel capacity that can move her over 6,000 miles.
With great reserve buoyancy, the 80 Expedition is designed to rise up and over large ocean swells. And while she is built tough for challenging passages, she also has plenty of deck space for tenders and toys, as well as an upper sun deck for soaking up your surroundings.
B80’s interiors are just as massive as her presence on the water. She can be outfitted with six staterooms as well as an owner’s suite. A 25’ 8” (7.8 m) beam allows room for both port- and starboard-side decks for safer operation.
Powered by twin 350-horsepower Cummins engines, she will cruise at 8 knots most efficiently burning only 10 gallons per hour (40 LPH).

80’ seems to be the sweet spot - not too big but big enough!
Out of all the yachts I’ve seen on TH-cam, this is the one that calls to me. Absolutely love it.

WOW - this is fantastic! I think you improved the galley with the 77, though this one is terrific, too. Bering just keeps getting better and better. I am truly in love with that 77 galley. This one you could use as an "eat in kitchen" - so much space to work in - plenty of elbow room and only 3' longer. Alexei, how do you get so much more space out of just 3' extra? Incredible build!!!

This must be an amazing yacht for those able to afford it. A true blue water passage crossing capable of dealing with the most scary waves. Kudos to Bearing for this amazing beauty. On a side note, a noticed the heads don’t have a mirror in front of the sink, just curious. But amazingly beautiful and steel hulled like no other!

ive been thinking about a durable rugged design , ice class , superhaul vessel since the 80s , and I have another design feature that I believe will add a significant amount of strength to the double layered sandwich haul im designing now, ive tried it as a reverse pull system , criss cross cable rig , on smaller rigs and a few heavy duty semi- tractor trailers, and it not only pulls the center together it strengthends the center point 10x fold , have to see to understand and im not ready to just put it out like this yet , its in its finish state and its a success which im really happy with , as the vessel is put thru any stress starberd or port it pulls from the opposite side keeping the vessel on a even keel , its really genius, and the idea came from a truck trailer I designed to stop them from tipping side to side and its in its patent state, another success , nice yacht .

One of the nicest looking Ocean crossing vessel's I've seen in her size range, I have a couple of question's from commissioning to the finish build how long doe's it take and how many feet is it from the top of the bow to the waterline.

I have no idea why i continuously watch these boat video's . In my wildest dreams i couldn't afford one. I guess I watch them for the dreams. I am curious.If one owned this boat and hired a crew of 2, and maybe the owner pulls his shifts....if this beauty was ran 24 hrs a day for a 12-14 day trip across the Atlantic, how loud are the motors? Would engines be heard in master stateroom at say maybe 1100 rpm's? I know, it's a foolish question from a man that can't afford this beauty but I have always been curious
The sound level is 49-51 dB in master stateromm in the conditions that you described

A few questions:
Is it possible to manage that boat short-handed ? I mean can a couple alone deal with the maintenance of the engines, generators, watermakers, air-conditioning, thrusters, stabilizers ... Also, can a team of two properly deploy the tenders, do the anchoring, docking, steering in rough seas, etc ?
How easy is to replace the fuel filters, the oils and the oil-filters of the engines and the transmission, can it be done by someone who is not a dedicated mechanic ?
Can QSK19s or C18s fit in there ? Can an active stabilization be added ? Can all the equipment and gears endure a prolonged duty - like running non-stop for min full 600h/25days ?
Is it practically possible to use 12mm A514-T1 steel for the hull; how will this effect the weight and buoyancy ?
Is it possible to engineer and build the overall hull structure and systems of the boat so as to meet Lloyd Register Ice Class Rating of 1A (Bureau Veritas IА) ?

Would this boat allow for an elevator in place of all the stairways.

What I need in a yacht is the ability to cruise at 12 knots with a range of 7k nautical miles. I done need multiple decks, lust a long sleek hull, 3 state rooms, and a tremendously efficient engine and drive.

14 to 16 months
Which boats are made in China vs Turkey? Is it size dependent or just which yard has the space?
Both yards are equally capable of delivering yachts in the 50' - 150' range. We keep both options open and prefer to have the customer make the final choice regarding which shipyard he or she would like to have their boat built. It mostly depends on the client's location and his/her proximity to the shipyard. All of the Bering owners enjoy getting involved in the boat building project and visit the yard several times during construction.

Built like a brick sh*t house. Nice.
4:59 mark ..... who's ever in charge of maintaining the engine room needs to be spoken to. The Cummings engine is filthy and so is the cabinet it sits in. This most likely means the other engine is in similar shape which means other mechanicals on the boat are also in mediocre shape. Not acceptable for a ship of this class and cost. I hope current or new owner addresses this with their captain. Otherwise...the boat looks beautiful.

She has a little bit of a Pitbull look at first but it really grow's on a guy after a while.
The bow made to endure the most ugly and scary waves, it combines hight, strength and curves. Not your coastal queen, this is a true blue water yacht capable of passage crossing like no other.
Very UN PRETTY boat.
Each man to its taste. Some like it, some hate it, nevertheless her performance and sea-keeping capabilities are outstanding.
LOVE the engine room and all of its aeras it has enough open area to get in there with tools if the need arises?
