    Great review Tom! People like to put down these lil Ecosports but for people who want the increased ride height and other advantages of an SUV but don't want to spend a huge amount of money and drive a huge beast of a vehicle, these Ecosports are ideal! These Ecosports are much easier to drive & park than a large SUV! Plus unlike a lot of subcompact SUVs, the Ecosport has AWD!

      l love it for the increased ground clearance and the overall appearance, it’s a ‘beauty’ in my eyes. I just don’t like the lack of a spare tire, but there are ways around that I have seen online....great review and Thanks!

    I love mine!!! Love that the wiper come on, speed up,slow down and go off all on its own. The back up camera not only shows you what behind you but also has a diagram of where your headed with the steering wheel turned they way have it. I also love that if you have the fan on full blast and answer a call the car will turn the fan down and when the calls over it will set it back to where it was.

    I have a 2018, same trim(Titanium), and same color(Smoke). Good car, fits my needs, but won't fit anyones. Braeton has the right idea in his comment. One thing I found surprising though is with the cargo cover. Mine is the retractable kind, but my girlfriend has that kind(solid, one piece shown in the video) on her 2019 SE. Just was a bit surprising. IMO I love the car, wish Ford would tweak a few minor things(LED lights on the Titanium, come on), but it fits my needs and it gets me from A to B, and is decent on gas.
    Also not mentioned: In the center console, that's a little tray that is removable. The actual console is a lot deeper :) Overall, I'm glad you're not one of those reviewers who just gives off the vibe of "it's small, it's slow, I hate it". You seem to really appreciate it for what it is

      Mine is 2013 model (same Titanium trim), 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, with DCT. Older model than yours.
      But yeah. Overall, I love its quality. Performance wise, it just decent. Feature wise, it wast the best in it class (subcompact crossover 1.5L) back then (its competitor were Honda HR-V 1.5L, Toyota Rush, and Nissan Juke). And the DCT performance is surprisingly awesome in highways (although somewhat clunky in pretty jammed traffic).
      The fuel economy (kmpl in my case) is only decent (in similar range to the aforementioned competitors). 9-10 kmpl in the city (up to 20 kmph avg) and 14-15 kmpl in the highway (60-80 kmph avg).
      So yeah. It's a good car.
      I do some changes on both the headlight and foglight. 6000K LED on the headlight and 3000K LED for the foglight and so far so good (although I prefer 4000-4300K for headlight if possible).

    Finally! A fair review! Great job. You described the Ford EcoSport well. I thoroughly enjoy mine. A 2021 AWD SE at 10,000 miles now. The only thing I didn’t like were the dull headlights and fog lights. LED's work great, especially in the projectors.

    My and I got this for a rental on our recent visit back home to see family and I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t feeling it. When the lady gave us the keys and said suv, I expected something different. I laughed when I saw it lol but tbh it grew on me and my wife loves it. Thinking about trading in my 2011 Camry for one but idk if it’ll be as reliable tho. Any thoughts on that??

    Which is better, 2021 subaru crosstrek limited or 2021 ford ecosport titanium?

    • @Stew-rl9qk
      @Stew-rl9qk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If the Subaru has a CVT transmission you may want to stay with the Ecosport. Look up CVT vs Automatic transmission and also the life expectancy of both types of transmissions. CVTs are cheaper but may not get as many miles on them, when they fail you are stranded.
