They love outdoors, are built for Swiss winters but...they are very connected to their people and kenneling them outdoors for long times could break their big hearts I can't imagine why you would kennel any dog outside, why do you even want one then? These dogs follow you everywhere, they absolutely love their families and want to be near them always. I've had them for 20 years, can't imagine sending outside to a kennel.
Did you even watch the video? As for gift time owners, only if you mean to understand how much they need to be with their people. My current one is a therapy dog at my clinic and he is wonderful w my clients and staff. It would hurt him to leave him home alone.
