About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. I am originally from the rural community of Howard, South Dakota.

SNOW DAYS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN! 🤣 omg, best line of the whole thing! I can't even tell you how many times I go into a snow day with grandiose ideas, only to have the kids argue all day, and just say screw it watch a movie!

I love these videos! They are so true, some people don’t want to admit it, but things get crazy lol! You always have these well intended plans that just go off the rails, trying to build gingerbread houses while the dog decides to jump up and start eating them because I had to get up to get something out of the oven. By the end of it I don’t think there was a functioning house and I was finding icing and sprinkles everywhere!
When she came back in and asjed him to call her phone i spit my hot chocolate. These videos are SO helpful to moms who feel guilt for their occasional frustration.

i so miss those days of watching the bottom of the tv screen for school closings. it was so exciting and magical. the suspense of waiting for them to get to the "S"s in the alphabet..
I had to listen to the local radio station to hear for school closings. My district started with a B, of course I’d missed the B and have to listen to the entire list again. Most of the time we had school!!

Memory - when all the boots had bread bag waterproofing, and being young enough that a nor'easter was a good thing. Sometimes mom would take us to the forest to have a snow walk. Toast dipped in hot chocolate at the end of it all.
