  • Hey, hey, hey -
What a fun topic. Thanks Angela ‪@JustMeAndMyFabric‬ for tagging me. It's a great way to share and to get others involved. Of course I have to pay it forward. So I tag:
    ‪@seestellysew8472‬
    ‪@Sewlimitless‬
    ‪@cquiyahssewincloset‬
    ‪@MadeByPam‬
    ‪@crystalsewsandstuff‬‪@shirleybogan1292‬
Thanks also to Julieanna ‪@thecuratedcurvy‬ for getting it out to the YT sewing community. So much fun! Here's the link to her version • 🧵✂️ This or That | Sew... which also contains the blog post and really, cute topic cards that you can use if you participate by video. Feel free to participate by leaving comments here as well! You are more than welcome to do so!
I'd heard of the "Love to Sew" podcast but had never really had an opportunity to check it out until now. The two hosts, Helen Wilkinson and Caroline Somos, are choc full of information and fun!
This is the "This Way or That Way" episode of their podcast:
    lovetosewpodca...
I mention Marfy Patterns - www.marfy.it/en/ in this video.
Also mentioned is Affordable Fabrics which has recently had a name and a location change since I visited a couple of months ago: americana-fabr...
That's the beauty of being a part of a great sewing community. We can share our experiences and maintain our individual authenticity! I LOVE IT! Thanks for tuning in today! HAPPY SEWING!
    Until next time,
    Take Care!

I don't have a serger so I finish all of my seams with seam binding, flat felling, or french seams. Also, I have not used fusible interfacing in years. I so hated the stuff. I recently purchased a few yards of silk gazar and organza in black, white, and beige and use that for every single garment that needs interfacing . They are fabulous to work with, even though they do have to be sewn in. using the organza was one of the very bets things I ever did to uplift my sewing.

Hey Waden. I appreciate the fact that you don’t have a serger. I bet those inside seams are beautiful! The organza is the BEST idea! That’s next level! I may need to interview you so that you can share that knowledge with the rest of us. 🤓. I’d seen Margaret Islander using it years ago and a few others highly recommend it. I said I was going to try it but haven’t yet. I already like sew in but am sure I would love the structure that organza provides. Let’s make a video! 😊

This was so good to watch. I used to love bias tape, but lately I’ve been feeling facings!

I found you b/c I was searching for 6D Embroidery Software...I'm glad I did :) Can you possibly make more videos...the software I have for my topaz 50 is old now and I spent ALL of that money and still don't know what I'm doing SMH

Oh wow. It’s been a minute since I’ve done an embroidery video but that’s what got me started. I imagine my software is probably old too. 🤷🏾‍♀️. I use to have the Topaz 50 but not any more. Perhaps it’s time for me to revisit the embroidery idea? 🤔. In the meantime, dig in Ms. Donna…roll the sleeves up and dig in. 😊You can do it! 😎. Thanks for the visit! Take care.
