Thanks for the info!! By the way you're so lucky of living close to that Walmart.... mine doesn't have close to this one, and I live around SF Bay Area!
I love what you guys do and have learned alot of tricks i need to try here in OKC. my quwestion is for white bass and hybrids would you just step the size down of the lures that you have shown?
Yes for sure, the hybrids here in Overholser can eat to the size that these guys catch normally. Lately it’s been sassy shad or plastic Sliders( long body small paddle tail plastic bait) with a chartreuse tail. Gay blades in either shad or chartreuse color work good too, but I haven’t caught one this year yet.
You throw a 1/2 oz chatterbait pair with fluke to fish for Striper? What depth does this setup cover? I was thinking about trying this but wasn’t sure if Striper would eat it.
Half of the lures in that sale bin, especially the name brands, are not even supposed to be there and either the employees or the customers just throw them in there when they're too lazy to put something back. The people at the registers won't give them to you at that price even if you speak to "customer service". The ones with the yellow price tags are the ones they are offering at the lower price. Rebel Jumpin Minnows have gone extinct at Walmart and they are pricey as hell at other stores, just as if not more expensive as other topwater lures. They do have a quick cutting walk the dog action and a good loud low sounding one knocker thud but at the high price I would rather get a Heddon One Knocker Spook or even the regular Super Spook or Spook Jr. do just as well and are just as easy to walk. The MIrrolure Top Dog, Top Dog Jr., and Top Pup offer a similar sounding topwater but are usually easier to find and can be had for cheaper at times as they can be found on sale.
Bless you
6:02 covid, great vid 👌
So all of them
My Walmart doesn't have half of the lures that you see in this video
You need to tell the people there to start stocking more items and show them this video
@@OutofWORKoutdoors Right on!!
