Susan Micari, MS, Ed., a board certified educational therapist in New York City discusses how to diagnose and treat Social Pragmatic Disorder. www.susanmicari.com
My wife has been diagnosed with Social Communication Disorder. For years we've been trying to find a practice that assists "adults" with this condition, but only found help for children. She's seen a handful of therapists and always seem to not help. You are the first person, other than the therapist that diagnosed her, that we've seen to at least address SCD in adults. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The title says "Treating".

Why adults in parenthesis. Is she not people with this are just as adult as you. I find "adult" to be very offensive.
It sharply amuses me that it's a disorder to understand Language as a form of communicating factual statements.
This woman speaks like she's trying to keep a patient of hers from having a meltdown.
