Jonathan Banks rocks in that last scene. He beautifully portrays how even Mike is horrified by what Gus does. It's one of the moments when you see that events are starting to leave a bad taste in his mouth.
To me, Season 2 Episode 12 "Phoenix" is where Walt truly became Heisenberg. He said at the beginning of Season 2 that he needed $737,000 & he would be out of the drug game, & while he had to make some tough decisions in the past he at least tried to justify them for his family. However, in Phoenix he had his money & his chance to get out of making meth, but he gave that up by letting Jane die. Additionally, as we will saw over the next 2 Seasons, her death has the largest impact on Walt & Jesse's relationship until Season 5, but had Walt just let Jesse & Jane leave his life he wouldn't have to deal with the consequences of almost everything that happened in Season 2 throughout Season 3 & the beginning of Season 4.
This one hurt my soul. All he had to do was roll her over on her side. It some heroic act by any means. Just a simple kindness. Walt really a piece of shit and the writers did well to make me hate that fucker by the end of

The only thing that's even close to real life here and it's still way off is the Jesse and Jane scene. You can be in a complete slump you can be on your days off, you don't sleep that hard the way he shook him. No way does it take that much, is it that hard to wake somebody up. Unless they are literally already dying or on so much heroin that you should be dead already you either cross the threshold of being too passed out or your able to be awoken. If I'm incorrect I would like for anybody to correct me. I've tried to commit suicide pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. Even in a completely drunken and methadone ridden stooper I can't say I've ever done heroin (I love autocorrect or voice to text, I have a very deep voice and nobody cares to create some recognition program for people like me), with enough stimulation you can arouse somebody from something like this save for say maybe new stuff like fentanyl I haven't done anything in a long time I don't know about new stuff. And I also don't remember any context to this scene exactly. As a complete druggie that has reformed my life many years ago, that accounts for my lack of knowledge and my ability to say that's not how it works back then.
Jane's death was not shocking at all. She blackmailed walter, threatened his family, there was no going back from there. I don't know why people say its Walter's fault, but he didn't have to save her, he would only be a fool to save her. On top of that she was a bad influence to Jesse , made him self destructive. She knew way too much, she had to go one eay or the other, its so sad that she killed herself, otherwise it would be very entertaining to see Walt kill her.
i do wonder why he tear'd up though.. I like to think that he was putting on a show for her in her last moments as a pascal's wager for the afterlife. "No- I was BROKEN when you passed; there was NOTHING I COULD DO" if that's true, it provides a lot of insight into the character of Walt as a person. Of course, he could've just been heartbroken that Jesse was going to find her dead and he knew what was coming... such a well developed character. Bravo Vince.

Mike didn't have to die... Stings even more after Better Call Saul
After trying to kill Walter I think he did
He looked Like Joe Biden, in BCS, wandering around aimlessly! It was never going to work, when all the actors are much older!
Then they turned him to goo and his niece could never visit his grave ;(

Gus's assassination is probably the most badass in all of television.
Hands down best death scene in tv or movies in my eyes..it was awesome
just when everybody thought gus is the type who doesn't get his hands dirty ,but in fact he fucking does
Beg to differ. Agent Stahl’s death from Sons of anarchy
I hadn't noticed that when Walter tried to woke up Jesse, he moved Jane from a safe position to lying on her back.
Same twin who dropped cash collecting money to give to Saul.
The same twin who saved Nacho Vargas. With his own blood at the vet 🐩
No One talks about that Tyrus also. Died
