Earlier they translate that as “deep thinker.” It seems maybe they are implying that “deep thinker” and “big talker” are somehow related ideas. Or, they intentionally mistranslated it to make the subtitles more interesting than they otherwise would have been, because they didn’t want to reshoot the scene with a new script. Either way, it is a strange choice that they translated the same word in two such different ways.

In spanish isn't sounds menacing and isn't that obvious he was gonna be murdered, they translated talker with filósofo, should be hablador or boca floja, sounds more like being a rat than filósofo.
Ratting on the cartel? He's lucky he got off so easy.
Still brutal though, he lived his last moments in fear and had his head cut off.
Furthermore, his head led to the deaths of three men.
They usually drugged you up to keep you awake, skin parts of your body, remove others and break bones while filming everything with a crappy cellphone, everything with some music like funky town. It can last for more than half an hour of agony. He got it really easy.
