    We are up in Northern Portugal Viana do Castelo. and my wife is from New York. Cost of living is way better than in USA. The regional Bus network in Portugal is outstanding too. I think the road network is another major difference with great roads for regional access all over the county. Its fast and well planned. Health care yeah, the rest of the world do it better than the USA. Its no contest.

    Portuguese are extremely hard-working people, and many people don't even lunch. Yes, when we're not working we really enjoy some wine, and we like slow food, very well cooked. Your perception is biased by the places you go. Don't want to sound harsh, and I really enjoyed your video, because it's honest, but needed to drop a line regarding this negative image of people that don't work and are lazy.

    Now in Portugal anyone arriving emigrant needs to have a job before arriving and qualifications . And I agree with what the Portuguese government is doing there is a need to control what no wants is what did happen in the UK that many of them dont adapt to the country or even learn the language and neither respect their cultural and values seen that happening in UK live there over 20 years and brought many problems that still exist . And some problems also happening in Portugal with some emigrants that dont have the same cultural and values and trying to impose their cultural and values in Portugal leading with some disrespect towards women's and even sexual assault and crimes .

    • @MarizaRodrigues-mw4bn
      @MarizaRodrigues-mw4bn 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      But have you noticed how the percentage of "sexual assault and crimes" is much higher inside a certain portuguese right wing party than among all the 1 million immigrants living in Portugal? In only 50 right wing members of government, there's 5 criminals already: 1 stole luggage at airport, 1 is a paedophile, 1 was drank-driving, 1 was charged with difamation... and 1 is being investigated for hate-spreading as we speak. That's 10% of criminals in a single parlamentary party.
      Leave the poor immigrants alone... Go after the rich immigrants instead...

    Some of your information it is not totally true. You have to put a lot of stuff in perspective. First USA has 300 plus million of people versus Portugal 10 million. You also are living in Portugal for only three years and just can attest on your own reality and affordability, which does not reflect the struggle of many portuguese people. In the US you if play your cards right you can make a nice living.

If we only have space for 100, we cant have 400...

      @@aidafurao1493 pocket?... how pocket?, do you even know how a government budget works ?...money is never enough for everything, so you have to spread it the best you can, and when the times are more peaceful, you reduce the money that you spend in weapons and allocate it to education, health, infrastructures etc...the real problem with Trump, is that he wants the Europeans to buy American weapons...which are more expensive and not always better than the European counterparts...

    So many wrong expressions I heard from you ! If you drink an orange juice with a scrumbled egg, this is for an American "fresh food" !😁 The Portuguese food is mostly unhealthy, fat and sweet, and has no variety in legumes and salads ! You can have this with cakes, but this makes you problems very soon ! One third of the Portugiese have problems with sugar, because of the food and the Portugiese have the highest wine consumption, that's why they are so slow ! 🥳
    If you are a Vegetarian, you are lost !
    Healthcare is a catastrophy for the Portuguese people and not amusing for foreigners ! If you use it more often, because it is cheap, you have to think about that !
    I friend of mine had a bycicle accident with a broken arm last week and had to wait 10 hours to see a doctor ! Maybe to many foreigners, like you ??
    So many Videos, thousands or millions on YT, and all tell the same things ! 🤔
