Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats th-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.
Yeaaaaa it’s that time of year again!!!! Love it! When you can go to a lake and explore! Pike fishing is the best! Getting a kayak this year so hopefully land some from the boat too 👍🏻🐊
Straight forward, simple, precise, well done great video, good you mentioned the use of an uptrace as this will really help newcomers to piking, keep the fish safe. 🐊🐊🐊
They haven't given the size of the treble hook, the weight of the ball, the length of the wire trace, or the float size. 'precise'??? And this is supposed to be for beginners?!
I'm just starting out Piking again since i was a kid (40 years ago) and have been watching all these videos for tackle, rigs and kit .. but the one thing I cannot find is where to fish. I'm looking for a day ticket type, still water, where i can have space to set up and experiment with ledgering and floating. A fishery that isn't too demanding with weed/trees/underwater obstacles etc where I can gain confidence setting up and maybe even catch a couple. I'm 15 Miles East of Birmingham (Atherstone) so anywhere around Nuneaton, Coventry, Hinkley, Tamworth or Leicester area would be good - can anyone help please? Thanks
Good video, thanks. I was wondering if the float set-up you used there would be suitable for large, natural waters where I would be fishing in depths of around 25 feet?
My tactics - sprat, short wire trace, on the bottom with a Swan shot, float slightly over depth to allow for pike to run, no need for anything fancy or rigs, if a pikes hungry it'll take it. Pretty easy to catch them and requires no skill. Caught numerous 25-32lbs on rivers close to the margin, literally a few inches from the bank. Nothing fancy about it and works wonders

Very good video, paramount care taken for the fish to get back safely, excellent video for the first time piker. Well done.
Great advice on returning pike there. I honestly didn't know they could be so fragile so before I go fish I want to fully research first. Thank you.
Love wandering the Somerset Levels. 👍
Good watching but great advice on Pike handling/welfare & what tackle you should use to ensure safe fishing for pike, many guys use too light tackle!!
You can't beat a float fished bait had my new pb on Friday 25.5lb
That’s a cracking pike well done 👍🐊
Well done and thanks for watching
Nice pike mate. Need to try dead’s more as I’ve never caught one on a dead. My pb (my profile pic) 20lb 9oz was on an 18cm savage gear jointed bream

Great video, can I ask what landing net you use? Thanks
What type of EOS reel would be best on the 10 ft rod?
Where were you fishing?
Haha little baby one! That’s about the size of the biggest I get at my local😂 nice vid though. 👍
Are you using a single treble through the top of the roach? Could you post everything needed to buy and make this float rig?
What are the plastic beads called you are using above the float? Thanks
Did the pike cut your fingers when it flapped?
So does the bait lie on the ground?
What casting weight would be optimum for 2.75lbs test curve

1st one about 5lb? Nice...wish I could catch one
I have ordered bait from Amazon. But in the meantime I'll have to buy from Tesco. What should I use? Mackeral? Sardines any use?
Herring is fantastic
What size reel was you using on the 10ft please? I know it was the 7000 on the 12ft but weren't sure if it was the 7000 or 5000 on the 10ft
Top vidéo ! if is possible to have French or English subtitles for the next :)

You must need some new scales
So many times I've gone to reposition my bait and realised there was a pike with the thing in its mouth.

I liked the content but why do we have to endure the irritating music?
