Great job, I am going to B&Q tomorrow for something and I noticed they sell this so will definitely pick some up, thanks for the review. Need to get a brush to get in the crevice where the window bottom meets the ledge, it always drives me potty because I can’t get all the crud out 😂
Hey Ashely I am a newbie going 6 weeks now and am a great fan of your video's they are helping me out alot so thanks for that, could you do a video on how to gain customers through social media
Thanks. I’m glad you find the videos useful. I’ve done a marketing course with loads of information about using social media: www.aemackintosh-onlinetraining.com/courses/marketing-techniques
good vid & good job Ash.... although i prefer to use those foam backed scourers, i use the white non scratch ones over the green ones, on some frames that have indentations i`ll use old toothbrushes as well. for cream i use Bond-it Upvc restorer, great stuff. keep up the good work matey. indecently what camera do you use to video? tony
This video is a little old so hopefully I can still get a response. I live in the US and these types of product don't appear to be available at the stores but it looks like I can order it on line. I have vinyl windows, not sure if this is the same as upvc, do you know if this can be used on vinyl windows?
Not entirely sure. Don’t think I’ve come across many vinyl windows here in the UK. You might want to try a product called Unger Rub Out. It is quite similar to this and I think it’s more easily available in the U.S.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh Thank you for the response! My windows, especially the caulk, it turned a grayish color, need help. I'll take a look to see if I can find the Unger rub out. 👍👍
@@aemackintosh Thanks for the reply mate, just starting out and need all the help i can get. My current employer has screwed its workforce and i decided to start up window cleaning so i dont have to rely on anyone else, i want to take a professional approach and yours is a great example.
Never use any kind of chemical TFR, hypo etc. It will strip the UPVC, leaving it open to the UV rays which in turn discolour it, Worse example I heard of was within 5 days, all the UPVC on a 2 houses turned yellow, both next door to each other. I was asked to give my "Opinion" on what had happened as the women were taking the cleaner to court!
I haven’t actually tried it recently. But I know that sometimes there are restrictions on the strength of products they are allowed to sell in diy stores compared to stronger ones that can be sold to the trade.😃👍🏼

Hey - Do you clean the PVC before the windows? If after, do you wait for water run off to dry? - cheers
Yes, frames first then the glass.👍🏼

Tony Carrington Good idea. You have to be so careful not to damage the surface.😃👍🏼
Hi Ashely, great video was wondering if T Cut does the same thing?
Never tried it.

Hello Ashley, would Unger rubout do the job? Keep up the great videos 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks! Yes, Unger rub out is very similar to this.👍🏼
Aww help, my restorer is clear liquid is that right?
I’m doing my frames inside . Would it be better with the yellow/white form?
Another great vid, can I ask where do you purchase your yellow microfibres/towelling cloths from? Ed
Halfords and Car Parts Wholesalers.
I get mine from Poundstretcher, Home Bargains, B&M etc., They're cheap - pack of 6 for about a £.
Great video as always, could you use steam from a hot water pressure washer?, love the videos and keep them coming please.
Thanks! 😃👍🏼I haven’t got a hot water steam pressure washer so I’ve never tried it that way.
Dude. Thanks! This is ace
Great, thanks!😃👍🏼
Do you charge extra for this service and how much for them ?
Great vids mate really enjoy watching a pro at work.
Thanks. Yeah, I charge between £5 - £15 for each window depending on weather it is 1, 2, or 3 panes.

Does this work with sun bleaching?
👍another great video
Thanks 😃👍🏼
Thank you
😎👍🏼
I've been using a light hypo solution... does a good job.... great vid dude
julian jones Should be careful with that stuff, I think it could cause discolouration on the upvc if it’s too strong and left on there too long.😃👍🏼

Good point. Thanks for the comment.😃👍🏼
would you charge much for this service? Would you do a full house ?
Sure, I would quote according to the property, how many windows there were and how dirty they are.😃👍🏼
Could you just use cream Cif?
You could.👍🏼
Does it work?
Yes
I got better results using neat Cif and a damp non scratch sponge scourer
😃👍🏼
hi

👊
The Thomson stuff used to be much better, not that great nowadays though

@@aemackintosh good point also I wonder if the regs have forced a change in the formula? Like paints going water based.
Stay safe mate.
Quite possibly. Thanks for your comments.😃👍🏼
That windows the wrong way around
The beadings on the outside so window can be popped out with a screw driver!!
use a cheap t cut, thank me later
I use the pink stuff 5times cheaper than that stuff 😂
Whatever works. I just found this in my van.
Pink stuff spray or the putty ?
