- Summer rains can leave our windows full of spots, smears and streaks. We are delving into my method of cleaning windows whether they're filthy dirty or just need a quick cleanup. I am using some specialized tools for this episode but they make cleaning widows that much easier. Happy cleaning!

Great tips! One trick I learned by watching a pro was to alternate your squeegee for inside and out. Meaning, Run the squeegee from top to bottom outside, and then left to right inside If you wind up with streaks, and most of us non-pro's will until we get the hang of it - you will know whether the streak is inside or out based on how they run!
Very motivating! If it didn't feel like I was living on the surface of the sun I would go out and do this right now! Maybe in November.

I used your technique a few weeks ago on my inside windows and I felt like a new person with how bright and shiny my house was! Your microfiber made a world of difference. I recently found those long skinny brushes you picked up in Japan and now I'm going to have to clean my tracks again because I know they can be better. 😂
Great beginner video for doing windows. Just a side note. I clean in Tampa Bay. In the summer try to do your outside windows in the early am or late afternoon in Tampa like climates. You can do them during the day however you will really need to keep the mop extra wet. If you don't it will dry immediately and you will have to do it all over again. I have been cleaning for a very long time and I absolutely love your content.

Great job! Although I have a squeegee, I've never seen a microfiber scrubber like the one you used, and definitely could use it here. We have *lots* of windows and are particular about keeping them clean, so every tip helps! Thanks again for a very helpful video

Get a doca pole squeegee kit for high windows so avoids using a ladder.
I have original 1921 double hung windows that are single piece of glass on the bottom, but 9 pieces on the upper. 4 windows across.
I would love to learn how to clean those uppers.

How come you don’t have to rinse the soap mixture off?
In the UK, what would be an equivalent to Dawn dish soap? Fairy Liquid maybe?

That's pretty neat. I just looked it up and both are owned by Procter & Gamble. In Germany, they briefly changed the name to Dawn, but sales declined so they changed it back to Fairy!

Notice you didn’t wipe an inch of your squeegee on the inside of the house,guess you didn’t have enough hands,🤣 Good video, you can clean my windows anytime!
Sometimes I’ll just wipe on the scrubber if it’s dry enough 🙂

In the UK.. some car cleaners swear by windex and newspapers. Go figure eh
You can it’s just takes a lot longer and the possibility of streaks is going to be higher.
