This makes me so happy, I remember some of your very first videos where you had built up an idea in your head of what NZ would be like and you didn't seem to be enjoying your time here. Now with this video you are showing NZ off proudly to family and experiencing it through their eyes. These vlogs will be amazing in 10 years time for you both to look back on and remember the amazing adventure you both took on.
Absolutely!! It was so fun to see NZ this way and just travel. Definitely a memorable trip and this video will be one I rewatch in the years to come. NZ has definitely grown on me and it'll be bittersweet to leave!
Great vid, Brit. Thanks for posting and showing the travelling views 🎥 So beautiful Thank you for also giving your opinion on travelling the country NZ. NZ will miss you 😢
I did yes!! It's been completely overcast every time we've been there unfortunately so no chance of star gazing but luckily we have a dark sky reserve in Jasper back in Canada so can get that experience back home! 😊
Great to see someone making positive comments about Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula. Most visitors don't even bother to visit the city due to comments from people who prefer Queenstown fast food. If you have time, please visit the Catlins, Stewart Island and, of course, Fiordland. Looking forward to your next post. Can't believe you had pay to cross the swing bridge across the Buller. That's not the NZ way.
We were definitely surprised to pay for the Buller gorge thing lol. A group that walked in after us walked right back out when they discovered the pricing and I can't blame them! We've been to Dunedin I think 6 times now and just love it! I truly don't understand why it gets so much hate but at least that means it's a quiet place to visit as a tourist! I wish we had time to see the Catlins and Stewart Island along with a big chunk of the southern part of the north Island. We've got just over a month left here and are saving for our next adventures but hope to make a couple more short trips!
Just found your channel. On one of your vids you asked where can you get the best pies in Nelson. In my experience it has to be the bakery in Wakefield. I've lived in Nelson basically all my life, I'm 53, and I still enjoy exploring our beautiful region. Have you been to Split Apple Rock, The Source of the Riwaka River or Waikawapupu Springs? When I retire I want to buy a camper and speed years touring NZ.
Thank you for the tip! I'll definitely pop into Wakefield for a pie, I want to check out lil' Sprig at some point too. We've been to Split Apple a few times now and Waikoropupu Springs which was just amazing. I'll add the river to my list though, thanks!
Hi Brittany,I am doing my road trip route planning and your video is helpful but if you could put down the names of the places you mentioned in the video,it would be more helpful~
