It's fascinating to expand our knowledge beyond sports and delve into other aspects of different places. Back in 1992, during a cricket match between Pak and NZ in the World Cup, I first noticed Dunedin on TV. Now, in 2024, I'm exploring the city further through your vlogs, discovering its charm beyond just sporting events.
10:29 Round boulders are typically formed through a process called abrasion. This occurs when rocks are repeatedly moved by water, wind, or ice, causing them to collide with other rocks and surfaces. Over time, this continuous grinding action smooths out the edges and corners of the rocks, gradually shaping them into round forms. This process can take thousands or even millions of years, depending on the specific environmental conditions and the type of rock involved. (Discovery with Gelogist)
Welcome to my home town! I walk through Vogel St to work every day (in a building opposite the food truck area - it can be noisy, lol!). Vanguard is definitely a favourite, so it's great seeing all my local haunts! They've just recently redone the track to tunnel beach - used to be very steep and exhausting on a hot day. I'm glad it looks like you got good weather (it's a bit variable, to say the least). And you really lucked out with the albatross - I've never seen that many at once! My favourite of the street art is the one of Freddy Mercury on Queen Street - it's perfect! 😅
We were so surprised! There’s a lot to do and see in Dunedin 🤩 and yes we did have some good weather there, albeit a little fresh! But sunny at least 😁
This is my home town. You guys did a great job of conveying the best bits of Dunedin and the Otago coast in one short video. So much more you could have covered, but the glimpse you give us is good. ❤
Loved this vlog on Dunedin, certainly lots to do and see in and around there. Loved seeing the albatross in flight, and my son at 6 foot 3 would struggle walking through passageway at Tunnel Beach! Those bolders are impressive looking. As always, loved the drone shots too ❤️
I would recommend driving Highcliff road, it is very twisted fun to drive road with gorgeous views. Then you can go to Portobello and drive along the bay.
@@cjexplores It is. I guess it doesn't get the title as the steepest section at the top is not asphalted, on grass and the crossroad at the top can be reached by steps only.
