I'm comparing the Magnus Pro to BTOD's (Beyond The Office Door in Wisconsin)) Vert Desk V3. I do not work for BTOD and have no financial conflicts of interest. I'm just an old guy/PC computer home hobbyist since 1993.
The Vert Desk V3 uses Innotech electronics which has a lifetime Warranty along w/ the frame and top. It also has a Ketterer ( a leading German manufacturer) motor(s) and single stage spindle gear system. The size I'm most interested in is @ 30"D x 60"W, as that is the size of my standard/typical office desk that I'm now using.
The SecretLab Magnus Pro XL is more funky/hip. What I do like about the Vert Desk V3 is how much detail they get into on their site talking about the quality of the components that you can't see.
These are just my thoughts. I haven't decided which I may get. The price on each of these is relatively close to each other. If you wanted the step up from these two, then consider looking at the New Heights Elegante XT.

does the desk work with a UPS? like, the desk itself will attach to a UPS and work fine?

They really need to make a deep L shaped desk.. something around 80x30 with 84x24 return lol I know.. I'm asking for a lot
They do, measurements are wonky, and you have to buy TWO RGB Cables. Not great.

call me crazy, but did you say the max height the desk can reach is 125 inches? and Min. height is 65 inches? I think those are off, unless they are making these for the Navi from Avatar.

I'm worried about the Secretlab Premium PC Mount, it says it only can support Weight Up to 15kg/33lbs and that seems REALLY LOW to me. My case weighs over 83lbs :( Any comment please? Do you think it will still hold it? How much do your Case weigh?

That floating mac just looks wrong. It still has the stand on, but it's floating around.

yeah dude as soon as i saw that i was like no way. i just bought a 72 inch table top and motorized legs for less than 400
They really need to make the PC holder and monitor arms better in the future, its got nice features but they're kinda insuficient for the price they're asking and the people willing to buy it.
Anyone who is willing to pay a premium for this will likely have a beast of a machine and dem things are heavy as hell now, a proper premium mid tower case alone puts the PC holder close to its limit, not to mention the 1000w+ psu and how chonky motherboards and GPUs have gotten.
For monitors ultrawide is pretty much a given nowadays if you can afford it, and it can't fit normal heavy duty monitor arms
Not to bash you but how can you be doing an independent review if you have an affiliate link with a kick-back?
