    Absolutely beautiful car, hope more people buy it so we don't lose sedans like we've almost lost station wagons🤞🤞🤞

    I really really love this new design! It's such an impressively thorough update too, considering it is a facelifted model. The N-Line spec makes it in absolute gem too.
    I do hope sedans can make a comeback. This and the BYD Seal are both such compelling new offerings. - I agree the lack of hybrid version is a shame though. But given the circumstances i can understand why they only offer it in a single trim spec here.

    It’s a shame that this car is still relatively unknown and won’t be a big seller in Australia because the consumer market has heavily shifted towards SUV’s and Ute’s.
    I currently own a 2021 Sonata N Line, and this new facelift honestly looks like an entirely new generation rather than just a mid-life refresh and it looks outstanding, both models look good in their own right, I thought of swapping to this new facelift but my car has grew on me so much that it feels hard to give it away just yet.
    Even to this day I still get asked what sort of car it is and people are shocked and have no clue what it is and when I tell them it’s a Sonata they get absolutely gobsmacked. The car looks fantastic and Hyundai/Kia now have become such a premium brand and they have stepped up their game immensely and the N division is no joke at all.
    The Sonata is a brilliant car, insanely quick when you plant your foot down in Sport+ and it shreds your front tyres flooring it from a stop or going around a corner, a hoot to drive and it shocks all hot hatches when they want to give you a go, that 2.5 turbo is a weapon.
    It’s a shame no one knows what it is as it is still rare on the road, I’ve only seen a handful in the 3 years it has been available on the market.

      yeah, highly unlikely changes for an outgoing model but perhaps they'll consider it for the all-new replacement, if there'll be one. I mean, if you're going to continue making sedans in this day and age, might as well go all out and cover all bases to appeal to a larger market. too many companies cheap out down under and I reckon, lose potential sales and customers as a result. Specifically thinking about volvo right now, where they have a bunch of options elsewhere for certain models but they'll only release one version/single spec of a given model in oz. and it will be drab with a completely black interior. obvs, they don't have a big enough market to justify providing options, esp if they have experienced having a whole hodge podge of models with various trims left over that they end up have to get rid of at a loss ultimately. they probably think they're choosing the most commonly palatable combination of options but I respect a slightly more daring company. they don't have to go all out but they also don't have to be completely bread and butter bland about things for the sake of higher turnover. then again, 99% of businesses are guided primarily by 'the bottom line' and sales figures.

    • @GoogleAccount-pt4zu
      @GoogleAccount-pt4zu 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hyundai aren’t making any AWD vehicles just yet, the current line up are FWD only, and the Stinger is only RWD in Australia, we don’t get the AWD variant here.
      Also keep it FWD, it’s more fun flooring it and hearing your tyres burn and screech like a mad man around a corner or bend with all that torque. Plus being AWD makes it heavier and it loses performance from a roll-on, so just keep it as it is for now

      Considering it shares the same platform with the Tucson, Santa Fe, STARIA, Kia Sportage, Kia Sorento, and Kia Carnival (all which are ANCAP 5 Star rated here), I would say it should be quite safe!

      @@danieltaylor4475 that's due to the poor performance of the rear seatbelt that IIHS have recently been testing. The car overall performs well however (if you look into the details), and based on EuroNCAP/ANCAP testing criteria it'd still be likely to earn a 5 star rating here.

      I have been driving a DCT for 3 years now(2021 N Line) and it is a little annoying. If this were paired with a traditional 8 speed auto I would fall in love. I am still thinking of upgrading the 21 for the 24, I guess the DCT grows on ya.

    At 3:54 of the video is reported that car has 16.9 cubic feet or 480 liters of trunk or boot space. This is the typical FAKE GOURMET sedan, the one that comes ready to be swallowed by an SUV. In the ranking of decent sedans (TOP 500 SEDANS) with a trunk capacity above 500 liters or 17.6 cubic feet it does not enter.
