Trtl Travel Pillow Review

Long haul flights can feel overwhelming with the thought of trying to get some sleep before arriving at your destination. Travelling in seats that don't recline, doing the bobblehead for hours, arriving with a kink in your neck, exhausted from trying not to fall asleep on the guy beside you. All those realities make long haul travel awful. I ordered the Trtl Travel pillow and Keith and I have used it on 16 flights with over 55 hours on planes and more than 20 hours of waiting in airports. I just purchased the "Cool" version of this Trtl Pillow as I don't like tight warm scarves around my neck. It feels quite breathable (thermoregulation) and cool to the touch. So I would suggest you try this cool version if you get too warm. It comes with a cloth bag case which has a clip which you can clip to your purse or backpack. I haven't used it yet on a flight but a friend I travel with highly recommended this and so I'm hoping it helps me sleep on my next long flight!

Thing I don't like about it is I like to rest my head against the window wall.....this neck support does nothing to help that. I would tend to lean towards the Infinity Pillow.

I find it great when I don't have a window to lean against. I shift the TRTL so that the support is in the front and then I can sleep with my chin resting straight forward instead of doing the bobblehead :)

Is there a reason you don’t recommend it for people who have neck problems?

I guess it depends what kind of neck problems someone might have, I just felt that when I had the support on the front under my chin to avoid the bobble head during flight, the fabric scarf part pulled on the back of my neck. If you are prone to having neck issues, this could be a problem. On the other hand it also feels like neck traction, so it could be good!
