3m marine Velcro. It's clear & is the same on both sides. Not loop & hook, looks like tiny plastic mushrooms...😁 & the little mushroom heads interlock.

Thanks for the information. I will look at the Stromberg Carlson but will install the lock underneath with another plate in front of the key so that it is much harder to drill out as the position on top allows this lock to be drilled out in less than 1 minute.

I just bought a Casita and the lady that had it before I had a bunch of traverse pleated curtain hooks all over the carpet areas. I took them all down then I realized what an awesome way to hang items up on the carpet with. I now use them for everything. Just on the carpet area of course.

Try curtain hooks into the rugs to hang light items

You can use office panel wall hooks to hang just about anything from the carpeted wall. Amazon has them in a pack of 50 for under $13.

Have you tried the velcro Command Hooks?
Velcro co. Does make a heavy duty Velcro product. You may need to go to a fabric store to get it. But it is strong!

I spent some time this afternoon viewing your videos about why I should purchase a fiberglass camper. Too tiny for me. I'm considering purchasIng a Class C RV. Been searching, researching RV's, and cargo van conversions. Very nice presentations, you gave. Nice job!

I watched a video where the lady said 'NANO Tape' stood head to head with velcro and Command Hooks, she was so excited about discovering this product. It leaves no marks on the attached finish but holds really well, so she said..Just saying it might be worth a try. BTW, I think you have done a great job to get the most out of your tiny space. Scamp campers use velcro on the rat fur wall covering. I believe it is by command hook. They are specifically used for hanging heavy pictures/ framed artwork on walls. Some come with tape on one side and velcro on the other. Just use the velcro part. Others use a roll of this heavy duty velcro and just cut the length they need which is tape sticky on the back to attach to your item that needs hanging. LOVE your video. Thanks for sharing... PLEASE show us an UPDATE on how / what you are doing NOW for organizing. Would Love to see how you've Changed things/ Discovered things Over time to make the most of your space. :)
Thanks! I tried Velcro. I was really hoping it would work, but Casitas have carpet on the wall. I haven’t really made any changes to the organization, but I will be updating the decor soon. The mini blinds have got to go! Do you have a Scamp? If so, do you like the curtains?

You have so many places to store items!! We only have 3 cubbies, above stove and bed and a few cabinets. By a few, I mean 3. Absolutely nowhere to store a lot of long term items! But we love the little Rove camper!
Cute camper! We don't have a lot of outside storage, so perhaps you have us beat there.
@@TravelsandTravails we do have two pretty decent sized storage bins outside that are accessible inside as well. It helps!

we like to use the drapery hooks for pleated curtains for hanging stuff into the fur on the walls. that way it doesn't leave fuzziness on the wall
That's a great idea! Can you think of a way I can attach that black mesh pouch? I'm not sure how to attach the drapery hook to it. What do you do with the back side of things you hang?
@@TravelsandTravails on the back of the black pouch take some extra fabric and hot glue gun 🔫 now mack a little pocket for the hook part of the that would go in the rod that gets pulled by the cord open and closed the three or two straight parts get poked in to the fur it might need two hooks to keep it even and to hold the weight

@@TravelsandTravails You could also just jam the drapery hook through the pouch fabric in the upper corners if you don't mind seeing the hook bit in the front. The points should be sharp enough to just go through like pins.

You can a hole puncher and put one or two holes on the upper rear part of the black pouch, the use those carpet hooks to hang it.

Screw in boat cover snaps would work. Just screw one part through the carpet and into the wall, and attach the other part of the snap to the organizer.

what about the alligator style clips that have the pin backs? I'm sure that description is making you scratch your head, but they are used on office cubicle walls to hold memos, etc. The are very sturdy and can attach into the carpet and alligator clip onto your little pouch. They are about 1" wide with two fang looking pins on the back. Available at Staples or Amazon, and they come in fun colors.

Nice use of baskets. We found a small clothes hamper that fit great in one of our cabinets. Makes it easy to grab and go to do lundry! You really packed stuff well into those cabinets!

Maybe a magnet on the carpet glued with kwick grip for repairing leather boots etc sets like a hard rubber do to the black compartment hanger then magnetic so for future if you wanted to put something else there you can Goodluck. Thank you for sharing also as I need heaps of storage hacks space

Amazon sells double wide remote control holders, they are mounted with double sided adhesive, I use them in our RV for eye glasses and small flash lights. These might fit your need for small pocket items and wallet

I don't know how well it would work, or if you're ok with it being permanent, but you could try fabric glue for your little organized. I would think it would work with fabric. Thanks for the ideas! My family and I will be full timers in a couple years while we wait to have our house built. I need all the storage ideas I can get! 💜

For hanging on carpet stick a velcro command strip to a command hook, then stick it to the carpet.

We found a collapsible round trash can we put velcro on the bottom,and it sits under the bath sink the velcro works wel with the bathroom rug

To adhere your black storage bag to your carpet, I saw an ad for "Alien Tape" on TV. They say it sticks to anything and is easy to remove!

The lights you use have magnetic strips on the back, this is what the sticky bits are on, which means you can remove the light for recharging. I have these and they are great

To stick something to carpeted walls use upholstery tacks. They are thumbtacks with a spiral stem. Just screw in.

Do you recall which size Clevermade collapsible tote(s) you are using? I've seen advertised 45L and 16L sizes.
Curious, the shelves you installed in the closet; how are they held up or attached to the wall? I can see right away that's an 'upgrade' that is needed in my Casita to make the closet more efficient and provide a place to store clothing.

How did Doug attach the shelves in the closet? Would love to see a video on that installation.
They aren’t attached at all. They have legs. The middle shelf is resting on the PVC pipe for the vent. Rosebud’s travels sells shelves, but they are different than ours. They might have a video on their channel. That’s one thing that we didn’t do a video on.

I like ideas, from the motion activated LEDs, garbage bag holder, and a number of other ideas. I especially appreciate that you give the name of the product that you purchased! That helps those that say, "I want one just like that." One suggestion: Please turn off the background music. You are competing with it and the the drone of it gets distracting.

The rotopax is 1.75 gallons. The honda is the companion 2200.

How do you keep your paper towel holder in place… we tried twice to use heavy duty 3m tape and both times it’s failed and Fallen off

Where do u store your lawn chairs when it's raining and you have to go inside?
In the bed of the truck. Casitas are notorious for not having much outside storage.
A way to hang things on the carpeted walls is to use small drapery hooks. They are sharp and stick into the carpet and then you can hang things on them.

Good question! It used to be in the bottom of the closet. Since we don't need it that often, it now resides under the bed.

Sorry if I missed it but what brand/model TV is that? I see it's 12 Volt..
It was 110 when we bought it, but Doug was able to put 12 volt cord on it instead of the wall 110 wall transformer. But they don't sell it anymore.
the hooks for the “key hooks” is not a very good idea as they can damage a surface. I would recommend (either dyi or purchase) a hook set up that is attached to a surface (a plank of wood) and attached that surface (i.e, heavy duty double tape or velcro). to the wall. If you leave keys while towing is even a worse idea because it can the hit so hard that it puncture a hole in the casita surface.
That’s a good idea, and I’ve worried about that, but they’ve been on there for over a year with no damage. Fiberglass is amazingly resilient.
Hello, I’m new to your channel. Do you pull your casita with a 4 cly verza? I have a Honda Odyssey van 6 cly with a family of 4 would I have any issues with pulling casita fully loaded with options
The Venza is a 6-cylinder with a tow package. Check your vehicle tow rating then compare to the Casita's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating which is about 3500 lbs. if you get the deluxe model.
How did you mount the paper towel holder?
It's screwed into the side of the cabinet above the sink.
How is the Casita for 2 adults? Do you guys stay inside only at night?
It's doable. It takes two people who really get along as the space is really tight. You do have to make use of outdoors/awning/lawn chairs to enjoy the entire space. It's not for everyone. Gotta stay well organized as well to enjoy your space.
We have been in the Casita in the rain. With the table, we can play games. We also watch TV. If you're tall, I think it would be a squeeze, but we got the trailer so we could spend time outside. Rick is on the money with having a nice outdoor space.

No. Never had leaks. We live in the West where it’s dry so condensation has never been a problem, even in the winter.
