We found lightweight fabric bins at IKEA - 6 in a pack for $4.99. They are great for the higher up areas as they weigh next to nothing. Now we just need to finish putting our things in them & label them!

Wow! This is a big help. We just ordered our toyhauler for full time RV, it will take 5 months to get in. In the interim we are going to 'rough it' in our 34' 5th wheel. It is more for weekend and deer camp kind of camping, but we can't wait. We have auctioned off everything we can, house listed, and i have been hauling things to the RV. I have this pile in there. Now I have a real clue about what kind of containers to get. I knew I needed them, but the choices are overwhelming for an already overwhelmed me. Lol

I absolutely love this, this is my life right now. I am not living in a fancy/new(er) RV tho 😅 mines o l d ! But it has a lot of storage! I am currently staying in one with my S.O. , our two kids, a cat, &+ a dog ... SO I can relate! Hopefully I find some good ideas here, Im excited to see! 👏🏻😁

Great video! Suggestion: I have tap lights in all my cabinets, which helps see in the deep, dark cabinets in RVs. I was having a hard time seeing what you did in the some of the cabinets.

I think it's all beautiful but how do you keep the things in place when traveling, movement of the RV would make the baskets and things move around.
there is a little lip just inside the shelf. We have to move only 2 of the baskets and 2 of the other containers when !we are traveling. They all stay in place! I am going to make a video on what we do to pack up. It really is quite easy. Do you have an RV ?

Fulltime RVing is so different from just vacationing where storage is concerned. I also have three years of clothing, because I cannot afford to shop for new clothes. That presents storage issues as well. I have three Labrador Retrievers. I recently sold my 25 ft. and bought a 33 ft. Still not enough closet/storage space so I am getting rid of one of the sofas (it came with 2) and creating a dedicated storage space.
Do you have storage under the bed ? We also just added and updated the bathroom storage by adding shelves. It’s definitely helped !
@@LyfeUntethered , Yes, and quite a bit. I think if I get rid of the boxes and bins, and consolidate using duffel bags, I can pack it in better. Thank you !

could put a stick in daughters clothes spot. mite install a little something on inside top to hold stick in position or a good sticky on stick end.
We live full-time in our 5th wheel and I love any ideas 💡. I have reorganized about 20x since we bought it 5 months ago. We also are crafters and I hate it when our crafts are all over everywhere.
I wondered if I could take my crafts on our upcoming (rented) RV trip.
You could totally make it organized for a craft space. The key is to pull it out and see what fits in the space, then only fill it with what fits in. Using the same baskets or containers. Making sure to label everything is a must too! What do you like to craft ?? Do you make anything specific ?
Totally I would get a larger plastic bin and then smaller bins inside to subdivide the supplies. Where is your trip planned ?

Hmmmm....so those may have been from the container store. We were having a heck of a time resourcing product when we did the organizational part. I have found some great ones at Target (by accident)..I thought they would fit the closet space.

can we get info on what the background tile is behind kitchen sink? is it peel and stick? love the penny tile look!
It is real penny tile! I used flexible caulk. I purchased it at Floor and Decor. It was well worth it. Took about a day to install/ grout. We did kitchen, backsplash in the bathroom and the risers on the stairs. The penny tile scale wise is perfect for the RV and for us...it covered several holes in the wall on our vandalized RV!! - Leila (I did the tile work with my friend)

Usually by the sliding glass door next to the couch. Don't have one in the bathroom - we just bring trash to the one trash can.

Thanks for the video and the ideas. I found it a bit frustrating though that you didn't actually show what you did or what you used in the drawers in the kitchen. The video just showed you talking and a side view of the drawer front, but not actually details. I stopped the video to comment so I guess I will see how much is left out in the rest of the video.

I for sure need to do that! It’s a toy hauler and we never haul toys so I’m hoping we’re ok on weight! We pulled all the RV Las Vegas style trim out but did swap in some heavier stuff so...
@@LyfeUntethered we just had a leaf spring snap so I’m a little sensitive to weight but with it being a toy hauler you probably have more wiggle room.
Just weighed it! Full fresh water and empty septic we’re about 1200 pounds under. Whew! Dang snapped leaf spring is scary! Video coming soon on weight.

LOL,,, no, we are not that organized. We have been fulltime RVing for over 8 years so we have it down pretty good but not that good. We are moving into a new 5th wheel this week, maybe we will do better in this one. Who am I trying to kid LOL!!!
