My 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ 1-Year Long-Term Review (2007 - 2014)

I have owned this 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ for almost a year, and I thought it was time to let you know my thoughts on this full-size SUV after spending considerably more time with it. I'll be going over modifications, the upsides, downsides, and driving dynamics of my daily driver.

My wife and I have an '07 Tahoe LTZ 4x4 w/5.3L also and we love it. Ours has 231,000 miles and runs great. We bought it with 115,000 miles 7 years ago. Just make sure you keep up on oil changes and don't go past 5K miles, the DOD system likes clean oil. Good video!

i drove my cousin's 07 suburban quite a bit..
surprising nimble & car-like ride considering..
sits up high yet the center of gravity feels low..
i cant explain the physics but it drives like a car

I have the 08 version of the Tahoe LTZ in red metallic. Also with the rear suspension swapped out. I pretty much agree with everything you have to say although to be honest the rear seats is not really that much of an issue if you have anywhere to store them, you can always just take them out if you ever need them. I've never really had a need for them, and honestly if you're buying it as a family vehicle there are better choices. but as a 4 by 4x4I don't think there's really anything better. yes gas mileage sucks but it's worth it for such a great vehicle

Agreed! I removed the third row a while back now. I'm swapping out the active front end as we speak, and will have an update video on that coming out soon.

Ditch the rear seats and then compare the cargo space to the explorer.

Funny enough, I did just that yesterday before you made this comment. It definitely puts storage on par with my Explorer… however… it now no longer has the third row, making it a less-than-ideal comparison.

If it wasn’t for the back hump u wouldn’t have ur g80 locker in the solid axle the new z71 with independent rear suspension couldn’t even go up a hill anymore in on video on TFL bc no locker

I do not! It does have the active air ride suspension in the rear swapped out for standard passive suspension though.

i cant watch your video. You say 'actually' wayyy too much lol. "next up is something i actually talked about earlier and that is actually the four wheel drive system, you can actually switch this to auto,, 4 high, 4 low, 2wd, i keep it on automatic because it actually does a really good job".....

@@readysetrev I used to do it too until I read a comment that said “if a sentence makes sense without the word, then the word is not needed” which was an eye opener for me. Kind of like people starting every answer with “So” “What are you doing today?” “So I’m actually going to the store to get some breakfast” lol
It takes a while to cut out unnecessary language which many creators don’t want to do because they need to stretch out their videos.
