I really love how you’re blatantly honest. Most car salesmen aren’t like that. And you’re pretty funny😂. I really like the Tahoes/Suburbans/yukons/Escalades. GM sure does love to make the same vehicle with different badges lol.

I've actually been told that some people don't like my video when I tell people the real issues about the cars. Or at least the guys that own the store told me this a few days ago. I do understand that my attitude about some of the cars is not the greatest and I'm working on that, but I really want people to know exactly whats up with a car I'm selling.
This is good advice. Also, there is a small filter/screen directly beneath the oil pressure switch/sensor that can become clogged and whatnot and cause the same issue. Replace that too. If you don't have a tool, you can bend a nail 90 degrees at the tip and hook the filter/screen to remove it from down in the threaded hole. Hope this helps somebody.
Oil Pressure Switch is the most common issue when it comes to check engine lights and oil signals in these Tahoe's. Just changed mine about 2 months ago, it was a b**** to do but part was only about $25

Yeah I have a high mileage (about 200,000) on a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe with the 5.3 V8 and it still runs beautifully inside and out. So long as you service and change the oil regularly like the previous owners of mine did these Tahoes will last forever. Hopefully mine will last to at least 400,000miles ahahah. But yes as happened to this one the oil pressure can tank and eventually when you hear ticking from under the engine unfortunately its time to say goodbye. As the check engine light was on in this one it was probably another issue.
the older Gm engines are good till Gm went to variable valve timing on these motors in 07 then they started having oil pressure problems, then they went to displacement on demand an that created even more problems with lifters sticking
Key word "service" people think as long as you change oil as scheduled everything else is fine. But engines are least wear items. The drive train suspension is high wear at around 100K.
