Got my Ariya Evolve yesterday and loving it so far! Great vid but you missed a trick at 3'04" when you manually opened the boot as you can just swing your foot under the back of the car to open it automatically! Really helpful if your hands are full! Also I may be mistaken but I think the middle tray is for watching an iPad rather than a laptop as I know there is a lid that you can pull out so an iPad can sit on top of it. I agree about having to hold your finger down on the open and close button for it though, slightly annoying! Finally you left out my biggest gripe... the regen (e-pedal) braking. You either have one pedal driving or you don't... what's the point of getting the car to slow but then not come to a complete halt! First world problems I know but, coming from a previous car with true one pedal driving, it's been annoying me so far!
Every time you start the car you have to hit OK to accept a privacy warning? EVERY TIME ??? Jesus Christ someone should have been fired for that. Did the CEO of Nissan never even get in the car?
Im seriously considering the same Ariya to replace my current lease in March. Have you tested the Volvo XC40? If so, which did you prefer? Not that I'm bad at making decisions but I am...
Gosh he's hard to please!. I do agree about the centre console though. The EV 6 has one major design fault which would be a deal breaker. When you open a back door there is a piece of body work sticking out at the bottom of the door opening. Granny would surely graze her shins every time. Or if you were trying to get something out of the back or strap in a child. Also don't like the rear exterior. The Ariya is much better

Had mine for 1 year, and I still love it.
The Engage does still come with a reversing camera - the Advance just has the 360* Around View Monitor.
Appreciated snappy review 👍🏼 as my in-laws are looking at this model. I’ve heard such good things about the EV6 💡
Genuinely impressive car. Take it for a test drive and let me know your thoughts.

Looks great tbh
That range you mentioned is for the FWD cars and you are testing an AWD car which has less WLTP

Not had an opportunity to test the XC40. The new XE30 looks interesting to me too.
The XC40 felt cheap to me. The Nissan feels very solid.
No reverse camera on the entry model is wild these days
not true - all models have one
He went from 350z to this , my god what happened to this world 😂
Is the tray not to hide a laptop? 🤷♂
My wife likes the Ariya more than the EV6.... not sure why they do like the car that drives better?

Looks great on the outside, some of the interior plastics look a little cheap though to me.
Yeah, good point. Certain interior parts do feel quite cheap for a car of this price.
That huge amount of space up front could and should have been a 3rd seat. Like a Transit or Multipla.
True. A 3rd seat at the front would have been ace!
The Ariya is an overlander/offroader in disguise...gone where no EV has ever ventured - th-cam.com/video/CWY7B1vSHYA/w-d-xo.html
Talk about 1st world problems!!😮
“…it’s a good looking car…” he says. Really? You really think so?
No one for you then?
If you mean 'Not one for you then', then yes, I would definitely not buy one of these
I thought that from photos but then I saw one in the flesh. It's lovely
The depreciation of Evs is staggering your EV will be worthless in 3 years time no one wants second hand EVs 😮
If depreciation is staggering then surely a second hand EV is a smart buy?
Depreciation is heavy for ALL vehicles right now. Also, it will make them a wise buy with their big warranties at a lower price.
