Why does the starter sounds like a Chevy? Fords very rarely have starter alignment issues. Unlike Chevys, Fords have a backing plate that perfectly aligns the starter to the flywheel. Can’t help, but wonder what’s really going on with that ?

Its a 289 Windsor, 4.7 V8 making around 400 HP with the Paxton Supercharger. amazing motor.
