I just hope any other mom to be's out there who happen to read this don't get false expectations. I'm so happy her postpartum life seemed so easy breezy and peaceful. But if yours is not and it's chaotic, sleepless, and the most intense emotions of your life that's normal and you're doing just fine. Don't worry.

She mentions that multiple times. Its not like she's this calm and collected 2 days after delivery. Seriously stop the mom shaming 😒

For my baby I used specificaly FuzziBunz but there area a lot of other great brands. They are not only helthier for the baby but great for the enviroment. They do take a wile to get used to but the pros are totaly wort it.

Depending on the type of carrier you can get a newborn insert which places the legs in the right position too. That way you can use the same carrier. My baby hated the sling carrier so a newborn insert in our Tula carrier was a life saver

She was supposed to be due April 23rd but I had complications with preeclampsia and seizures so they saved her and delivered her early. She is doing well and getting discharged from the NICU this week and seeing this is getting me excited about bringing her home finally.

he was not easy at first!! He had bad gas issues that were causing him to be extremely fussy the first month. I thankfully figured out how to help him and now he's happy and chill!

You're so lucky you have comfortable environment. My first baby lived in a broken family. I got divorced with my husband just a month after I gave birth so my baby lived with me and my parents. Unfortunately my parents had bad temper and so easily angry at any small things. I suffered from depression at the time and my parents kept angry at anything and often got fight over nothing. In that stress situation, my baby kept crying and our lifes were like hell. Now I know that the environment and the emotion affect baby so much, so I learn to keep calm. He's 6 years old now and I give him the love I couldn't give when he was a baby as long as I can. He deserves love and attention he didn't get. I won't do that mistake again with my soon to be baby from my second marriage. I have to give her loves and cares.

he was not easy at first!! He had bad gas issues that were causing him to be extremely fussy the first month. I thankfully figured out how to help him and now he's happy and chill!

You're so lucky you have comfortable environment. My first baby lived in a broken family. I got divorced with my husband just a month after I gave birth so my baby lived with me and my parents. Unfortunately my parents had bad temper and so easily angry at any small things. I suffered from depression at the time and my parents kept angry at anything and often got fight over nothing. In that stress situation, my baby kept crying and our lifes were like hell. Now I know that the environment and the emotion affect baby so much, so I learn to keep calm. He's 6 years old now and I give him the love I couldn't give when he was a baby as long as I can. He deserves love and attention he didn't get. I won't do that mistake again with my soon to be baby from my second marriage. I have to give her loves and cares.

I guess it really depends on the baby and the lifestyle. My sister in laws baby is exactly like this - so calm and quiet its unbelievable.

@Viking N3rds Labour really isn't as bad as you see on TV, promise. I'm a mother of 2 (nearly, currently expecting my second) and I'm 23 being younger is helpful because your labour is less risky and your body bounces back alot faster aswell. X
