We broke the Binky cold turkey because we don’t want them to have those Binky teeth. Anytime there was a fussing or a whining..We would soothe them distract with a book a toy kisses a back rub until they fell asleep. It took about two weeks, but finally was forgotten about.

My daughter got into her 4 month sleep regression from waking up only 1-2 a night to every 2-3 hours to feed 🥲and her naps during the day are horrible too lol. We also about to fly on a long weekend vacation to Mallorca ( 2 hours away ). Pray for ya girl 😂

I know I’m late! But I do nights and naps for pacifiers and take it in the day time it helps them not be so attached but still use it when you need them to soothe and use it the most

I have a 8 month old and a 3 year old. So thankful I finally got a routine within 4 months. We ended up soaking the pacifier in vingar for 3 days straight to wean. I hope that helps. ❤

My goodness they are so precious ! My worry is mostly because my daughter is going to be 2 when our newborn arrives but I’m a SAHM and I’m trying to work out how we will manage. My husband works many long hours and his job consists of meetings all day (even the couple days he gets to work from home) so he cannot assist me. He also starts work at 7 and usually finishes around 6.

Pacifier tips: We stopped cold Turkey with my second. My first we weaned her off by taking it during the day. Only during nap time and bedtime we’d give it to her.
With my son i only gave him the binky when be was fussy which was rarely but i only gave it during nap and night time because it reduces the risks of sids. he only used it for about 3 months and i just saved it just in case but after that i gave it to him again when he was 11 Months and he didn’t even know what it was because he hasnt used it in 8 months. We were in Mexico and i wanted him to use the binky so his ears wouldn’t pop in the airplane took him 3 weeks to actually take it again. but after i came back from Mexico after 6 months i never gave it back if you don’t make it a habit for them it wont become one so thats what i recommend i still have it for his memory box though but just take it away cold turkey and give her something else that will sooth her like a teething toy or something thats what my son used when he didn’t use his binky

Hey Maya 👋. So the binky thing it can be tricky. What I did with my kids I just hid it. Meaning when there was a sweet spot where they didn't have it I would put it away and distract with something else. It has always worked for me. My husband and I are 6 kids in. You'll be shocked how quickly they forget about the binky once their little minds are on something else.
I'm so excited and nervous for this upcoming stage. Giving birth in June this year and currently have a 19 month old ❤

What am i supposed to do with that? 😂😂 like….we didn’t go into a prayer session or anything this video.(I will say, I did have my one on one time with God this morning and I could not stop. Love the video. Ezra may be experiencing a growth spurt as to the reason he is cluster feeding. It was like that for my little ones. Each time they would cluster feed, I googled the growth spurt periods and it would be spot on.
I started to cut the tips off of the pacifier so it no longer has its suction. He stopped weened off in no time.

It was so hard to wean my daughter off I just had to do it cold turkey and yes it was so hard it took a full week or 2 to finally get to not used to it

Sad to say but you just take the binkie from them then after day 3 they’ll forget about it. It’ll be a struggle the three days but treat it like a fast but just for a baby 😅 It’ll go by fast!

to get her off the binky,start taking it away for a couples hours a day for a month then keep adding hours every month and soon she will forget about it.
Every time I get my toddlers dress they both do that passing out thing 😭
Cut the top of the binki, that’s what I did with mine daughter and she threw it out herself after like a week
My daughter is 3 years old and she will not give up that binky for anything her dentist is on our behinds and we have tried everything from cutting it to saying it’s broken but her doctor told us taking away cold turkey is very traumatic and stressful for baby so we have considered that and have been hiding it here and there to allow her not to depend on it as much and hopefully we can hide it and she will forget it one day 😂 good luck! Lol 🙏🏽

I see videos where the parents would dip the pacifier into apple cider vinegar give it to their child and the child was gross out and never wanted the pacifier after that

Starting at like 6 months we started gradually giving it to her less and less. We went from all the time, to only in the car or bed, to only when in the bed. To stop completely we cut the paci so she didn’t want it, but then it was basically cold turkey after that.
