I’ve had mine about 2 months for Xbox and it’s been fantastic. Only problem I’ve had was I switched my jump to left joystick click on Overwatch and after time it caused a dead spot on my joystick. I contacted Power A and they sent me a brand new one no questions asked. They even let me keep my old one. Can’t go wrong with this one.
BEFORE YOU BUY: I bought this controller from best buy Dec 2019. I go through controllers left and right playing rocket league, given, i play quite a bit and usually buy the PowerA $20 controllers from Walmart. Overtime the biggest issues are always either dead zone (stick drift) bumper issues (LB/RB getting stuck or just not working) and occasionally the A/B button sticking. I may be a little rough with them at times but who isn't in competitive game play lol. Like i said i had this controller since 12/19 and it lasted longer than any other that I've had (usually replace every month or so). The LB got stuck while the micro switch still worked it would either not press at all or just randomly be toggled. I did not purchase the best buy warranty and instead reached out to PowerA. PowerA customer service is only over email which i would get a reply every other day or every few days. I submitted my warranty claim in April 2020 and received my replacement around 6/20/20 (Note: This was during quarantine when controllers were out of stock everywhere including the PowerA website). After they told me in late May that they were out of stock and they would ship one asap I finally got it in late June. The one they sent me had more issues than my previous out of the box. The left stick had a drift in upward right direction of about a .04/.06 which is a major issue for me where i play with a .05 dead zone. The RB decides when it wants to work when held down given this doesn't happen as often. The A and B also flicker occasionally when fully held down. I suspect they had sent me a refurbished controller as it had felt like it was already worn in. I just reached out to them again yesterday 6/26/2020 and they did reply same day however the color i have (white) is currently back ordered. This process started in April mind you and when I paid over $80 for a controller I expected it to work correctly out of the box or at least have a decent customer service platform. I loved my first one for the most part as it feels really good with the weight and sticks felt very responsive and smooth. Just an FYI before you buy thanks for reading my 3 page paper. Also, buy the best buy warranty, its worth it.
@@TristenE yea my Spectra Enhanced has a locked RB and stick drift on the left stick. I thought my controller was bad out of the box but damn. You got it pretty rough. Did they ever get you fixed up??
It's Taterz Sorry to never follow up yes I did eventually receive my controller! After many returns my expectations were not that high. The controller had very negligible drift (around .01-.02 dead zone) and I have actually started playing on a higher dead zone in than previously due to how often controllers do this. I would like to mention that upon looking up the potentiometer on the manufacture website (ALPS: PN-RKJXV122400R), the manufacturer states, “lever return mechanism precision: ±5°.” Which is the same as up to .05 drift upon rebound of the stick. I guess I can’t be upset with PowerA for the part but their customer service is still lacking in quality. Still cool of them to just send new controllers without needing a return or anything though so there’s that. Here is the link to the part on the ALPS website if anyone is interested. tech.alpsalpine.com/prod/e/html/multicontrol/potentiometer/rkjxk/rkjxv122400r.html
I have this controller and I also have the elite controller. I would say there's not a lot of difference I find the power A controller to be extremely good controller very much worth the money!
GaySavage NYC I use series 2 but when it brakes which it will because Microsoft can’t make a durable controller ima switch to this I only use series 2 mainly for trigger locks
I bought the one with two paddles, the thumb sticks started losing to a point t where I hardly moved and the the dreaded stick drift, I really wanna trust these guys again and buy this controller! Maybe I'll buy the after care cuz I know its gonna start drifting!
bought this controller and m so happy with this purchase. This controller can break a year from now and I still would buy another Power A controller cause ITS ONLY $80!!! The controller feels premium...I cant justify paying $180 for an Elite if i can do over 90% of the things I can do on an Elite on the Power A....I use this controller for my PC when I play Call Of Duty. BUY THE POWER A...YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!
2:25 I can see your tabs that hold the paddle in are wearing/braking. I use this controller and watched the vid to see if you mentioned this. Mine completely snapped off and I've had to contact customer support three times to get a replacement. Not very good customer service at all. The controller feels premium. I do like how it performed when it worked AND in my tests I got a better response time than on my First gen Xbox Elite controller (probably due to the fact that it is hard wired vs wireless). My xbox elite controller paddle tabs also wore down, but didn't break. Just made the paddles a little wobbly. It should also be noted that the paddles can be flipped left and right. I know it sounds and looks weird, but I prefer the top paddles flipped so they hook up. Overall, I have been happy with it especially at that price point. Shooters like Warzone and now Halo are awesome with it because being able to jump without having to stop my aiming movement is a HUGE advantage, as well as having a ping paddle, reload paddle, and crouch paddle. I'm just very disappointed that they tout a 2 year warranty but made me nag them over a 36 week period to get a replacement for that stupid pack in the back. I'd still recommend, but if they tightened that customer service up it'd be a glowing review.
I know this is an old comment, but a guy on ebay sells a plastic backer plate that he made that puts pressure on the connection points of the paddles to keep them in place and fix the breaking issue. I bought the copper pack and copper friction rings (for the white version) off of ebay and am swapping them on to my black controller. Then I'll attach the backer plate to my copper pack to prevent the tabs from breaking on me. I didn't modify the original pack that way if I ever need support for it they don't have any reason to deny my claim.
I have a PowerA Spectra enhanced ... it has lasted 5 months so far no issues .. this particular version has led balls seated at the bottom of the handles to give it a more sturdy and strong feel. Although that's extremely misleading and messed up, the controller itself is still very reliable, I have owned this fusion pro version for 3 months no issues
Ill say this I went and bought the series elite 2 when it first cam out. 200$ 3 months later the round gliders that surround your L & R sticks the little teeth that hold that black ring in there are so thin and they broke on my left stick. Making the while controller useless. till i could track down a new face plate for it. But in the mean time i bought a second series elite 2. 200$ again 3 month later same thing happens. So i go back to the og series 2 1 month after fixing the joy stick gliders my left joy stick just starts spining. And theres no way to tighten it. SO i give up and i do some research and found out alot of people are liking the Power A controllers. So i go ahead and buy one. LOve it feels of quality lots of extras the sticks feel so smooth, smoother than the Elite series 2 Im not much on the paddles since i mainly play Fifa and Madden. but they are so well thought out. 1 year later and still not one issue. the only thing i wish the Power A had that the Elite series 2 had was the ability to change the tension on your joy sticks. thats the only thing i prefer on the Series 2 over the Power A. Maybe if Power A makes a new model they'll add that feature. Great review
Bought 2 elites version 1 (1 on release day) and both with in 3 months, started to drift. Haven't bought another one, but after watching his I'm about to grab this and half the price of the Elite v2.
I've bought AO before and it's solid for it's price. However, headset jack sucks, but I use wireless so no biggy. As solid as it is, if you drop it, it's pretty much done. Dropped mine maybe once or twice because I forgot about the cord, and the right trigger fires nonstop now. Luckily I learned how to fix the drift on my older controllers.
Don’t get the elite 2 if you’re watching this. I’ve had three, all of them broke almost right after the short excuse of a “warranty” on the elite 2. Get the power and the 2 year warranty it’s not a bad controller
For 80 it's fragile af! I'm on my 4th one in 2 years. I'm sick of replacing them from a drop from the couch seat to the carpet. And it's stops working.
I just got mine and this shit is amazing bro for like 80$ at best buy! Way better than the scuf elite control for like 300$ shit was wack after like 6 months and i took good care of it
This controller can map a macro to a paddle. So, yes, actually it can. You can use it for drop shots, or whatever. Read the stuff that came with your controller, people. Also, the green things are friction rings, not just accent pieces.
unknown person Might have to start playing that game I bought it cause I play fortnite and wanted to be quicker but it will only let me use the second so it’s like I’m still using my elite controller
I cant say really anything about this specific controller cos i got the cheaper version of this, and at forst i thought this is awsome. ( after i got use to paddles on the back) The trigger lock is on the cheap one im gonna guess that theyre same as that. It literally just locks the a triggers compared which means while playing call of duty. They work fine for shooting but wanna drive a vehicle your gonna got about 1mp. I bought the specter enhanced it broke after 2 weeks the ledt analog stick wouldnt click in any more then took that back and in 3 weeks the headphone jack wouldnt register my mic. After that i thought im gonna have to just bite the bullet and spend money on xbox elite 2. I have no regrets spending all that money I absolutely love the elite 2 controller. Would highly recommend!
Yo stop telling lies. If your spectra enhanced got broken within 2 weeks, which is extremely rare, then your elite 2 will break within a few days. PowerA makes much durable controllers than any other controller manufacture.
Bought one of these a few days ago. Mainly because of the back pedals. I just can't seem to play with it since it's blocking my grip. Most likely the same problem would occur with the elite or elite 2 so it's not really a fusion pro problem. It was a gamble though. I kinda was afraid this would happen. So now I just use it as a normal controller without the pedals. But basically prefer the normals Microsoft controller for that. I can't really see how people are able to use a controller with those pedals in the way. Maybe smaller hands or a different way of holding the controller.
i took my dremel and a high speed carbide bit and reduced size and shape dramatically. reduced length 60%, and made them a more comfortable squarish shape.
I actually just bought one today. I absolutely love it, only thing I dont like is the weight of it. This damn controller is almost 5lbs lol. Maybe not 5 lbs but it is definitely heavier then other controllers
well if you want you can open it and take out the rumble motors. they are literally just weights for vibration. by open i mean open open, like take it apart

i went from an elite to this and my only issue with it is the deadzone. on rocketleague with my elite my deadzone was .10. with the fusion i had to crank the deadzone down to no joke .0.... yea .0 and it still feels like there is a deadzone. joysticks feel amazing just very difficult for the players who are used to making small increments on very low deadzones
my stick fell out of calibration and would not read correctly after 6 months. right as the warranty expired.... sad cause i love this controller. im not super hard on the controller and i guess 6 months is a decent amount of time but my 40$ xbox controller is 4 years old running strong
How do you lower the dead zones? It’s a great controller but even when I lower the dead zones in the games I play, it still feels like I have to pull too much to effect my RS?

So I’ve had this controller for about a year and it was fine for a long time But nine months later there’s a very bad stick drift and when you’re walking your sprint cancels a lot in game. And that’s what you get for buying a $80 controller is it worth the money yes but after a year you should switch to a Scuff prestige
So I’ve had both the elite and the power a controller. My power a controller lasted about 5 months until the triggers completely snapped and broke. The trigger locks are terrible on the power a and half the time don’t even register. Its a pretty good controller for the price but did not last nearly long enough for me. Elite is way better in my opinion, plus you can customize it a lot more for certain games,
Yea you can have just one paddle. You can even flip them upside down for a different position, more out of the way. You can use the big paddles where the small ones should go and vice versa. Love my fushion
I’m looking to replace the thumb stick module. Do you know if they’re same ones as the Xbox ones? For all I know, maybe they’re all the same and I’m over here scratching my head.

Space it out into paragraphs if you actually want people to read it.
Toms Tech It was but I copied and pasted from the place I wrote it and if no one reads it oh well. I didn’t write it to benefit me.
@@TristenE TH-cam also seems to be having an issue where if you use paragraphs it will just delete them into a wall of text.
Amazing video honestly. Had no idea what to and you broke it down perfectly. Thank you!
I have this controller and I also have the elite controller. I would say there's not a lot of difference I find the power A controller to be extremely good controller very much worth the money!
Jeff stop lies there’s a big severance !! I have both
GaySavage NYC I use series 2 but when it brakes which it will because Microsoft can’t make a durable controller ima switch to this I only use series 2 mainly for trigger locks
I bought the one with two paddles, the thumb sticks started losing to a point t where I hardly moved and the the dreaded stick drift, I really wanna trust these guys again and buy this controller! Maybe I'll buy the after care cuz I know its gonna start drifting!
thats why you map the sticks so you dont have to press them all the time which causes the drift
Great video man! Thanks for the review! I just picked one up today. :D
bought this controller and m so happy with this purchase.
So I bought this and for some reason it had the same tracking code as a series 2... so now i have a series 2 controller PLUS the fusion
What do you mean?
lucky
Broke my elite; couple games in and it's well worth it. I use 2 paddles only
Same i just got one and im very excited to play with it!
@@user-jf2vb7rw8h save up now if you play often will only last 3-5 months
joysticks arent as sturdy
Using this one in White. Its amazing for the price. Just wish it was wireless!
Great review
the green rings arent cosmetic, they make the triggers have a little clickyness when you hit the edge
Bought 2 elites version 1 (1 on release day) and both with in 3 months, started to drift. Haven't bought another one, but after watching his I'm about to grab this and half the price of the Elite v2.
the elite 2 is way better
I've bought AO before and it's solid for it's price. However, headset jack sucks, but I use wireless so no biggy. As solid as it is, if you drop it, it's pretty much done. Dropped mine maybe once or twice because I forgot about the cord, and the right trigger fires nonstop now. Luckily I learned how to fix the drift on my older controllers.
You can also choose how many paddles
Don’t get the elite 2 if you’re watching this. I’ve had three, all of them broke almost right after the short excuse of a “warranty” on the elite 2. Get the power and the 2 year warranty it’s not a bad controller
Loved your video it was so informative!! I realllly need help though, is there anyway to tighten the joysticks?
For 80 it's fragile af! I'm on my 4th one in 2 years. I'm sick of replacing them from a drop from the couch seat to the carpet. And it's stops working.
2:25
Paddle alignment if you’re wanting to put your paddles in
I just got mine and this shit is amazing bro for like 80$ at best buy! Way better than the scuf elite control for like 300$ shit was wack after like 6 months and i took good care of it
Can you map 2 buttons to 1 paddle by chance?
No
This controller can map a macro to a paddle. So, yes, actually it can.
You can use it for drop shots, or whatever. Read the stuff that came with your controller, people.
Also, the green things are friction rings, not just accent pieces.
The shortest settings doesn’t work for fortnite unless you press so hard its the only thing on the controller that isn’t good.
What do you mean
ivan ramirez The Trigger Stops dont work on the one where you just tap it and I don’t know why but you have to force it but works on the other 2 fine.
@@inkdlol that's because the third trigger stop does not work for all games I play apex with 3 and it works perfectly
unknown person Might have to start playing that game I bought it cause I play fortnite and wanted to be quicker but it will only let me use the second so it’s like I’m still using my elite controller
The controller seems good but I personally think that the xbox elite series 2 controller is better because you can take off the paddles
You can take the paddles off in it to

🙏 thank you I dident know how to map the button
Trigger lock short setting caused triggers delay when shooting so i only recommend the normal setting and friction rings are useless
I cant say really anything about this specific controller cos i got the cheaper version of this, and at forst i thought this is awsome. ( after i got use to paddles on the back)
The trigger lock is on the cheap one im gonna guess that theyre same as that.
I just bought this control but later on ima buy the series 2
I have this controller it works amazing
I really wish they could’ve made extra shells so you can customize it more!
Maybe this will happen in the future
Hi just saying the rings around the joysticks is so that it doesn't wear through the plastic like on the original Xbox controller
Love your voice, is so soothing..😊
Had this controller for about a year and the joystick recently broke but it seems replacement won’t be that hard def a good controller though
Hey man good video! I was wondering if you can cable it to a pc?
ye
I actually just bought one today. I absolutely love it, only thing I dont like is the weight of it. This damn controller is almost 5lbs lol. Maybe not 5 lbs but it is definitely heavier then other controllers
well if you want you can open it and take out the rumble motors. they are literally just weights for vibration. by open i mean open open, like take it apart
@@TrxJxn so not just the face plate but DISASSEMBLE??? Bro if I do that im sure I will F something up
@@DirkDigler123 i didnt ask for a response. its four screws so either do it or dont, i told you the solution lmao.
@@TrxJxn whoa lol. No problem twat waffle. Sorry for messing up your day with a response. But really I never asked for your opinion on my review. Works both ways internet tough guy. I wasn't even rude in my reply to you, I was trying to be funny.
Search up "powera fusion pro teardown" theres a video on youtube that shows you how
I wonder how much cheaper the controller would be if it didn’t include the worthless carrying case
i went from an elite to this and my only issue with it is the deadzone. on rocketleague with my elite my deadzone was .10. with the fusion i had to crank the deadzone down to no joke .0.... yea .0 and it still feels like there is a deadzone. joysticks feel amazing just very difficult for the players who are used to making small increments on very low deadzones
So this controller differs from the elite because it does not contain an internal battery? Meaning you have to leave it plugged in at all times??
my stick fell out of calibration and would not read correctly after 6 months. right as the warranty expired.... sad cause i love this controller. im not super hard on the controller and i guess 6 months is a decent amount of time but my 40$ xbox controller is 4 years old running strong
How do you lower the dead zones? It’s a great controller but even when I lower the dead zones in the games I play, it still feels like I have to pull too much to effect my RS?
Usually it just a setting in game not the controller
Do the joysticks feel stiff because I’ve got a wired controller once and the joysticks felt weird then a normal controller.
The joysticks feel awesome
there tighter than a normal xbox controller but still feel nice
The green ones sound more clicky to me
Great video looking to buy this because how awful stick drift on the Xbox elite 2 is
Can the paddles act as standalone extra buttons not just other places to press the buttons on the front?
Just got a new subscriber preciate you bro
Ive hooked up my controller to the front usb of my xbox one series s and the controllers led turns on however it has no functionality cant navigate my xbox with it even though its turned on?? Help???
Im playing with the Power A spectra one and im saving to get that controler
It's pretty cheap now eh it's 62
The metal ring wear off you can see it on the plastic controller..
Be nice if a 3.5 would fit in the audio jack
So I’ve had this controller for about a year and it was fine for a long time
But nine months later there’s a very bad stick drift and when you’re walking your sprint cancels a lot in game.
And that’s what you get for buying a $80 controller is it worth the money yes but after a year you should switch to a Scuff prestige
Thanks this was very helpful
So I’ve had both the elite and the power a controller. My power a controller lasted about 5 months until the triggers completely snapped and broke. The trigger locks are terrible on the power a and half the time don’t even register. Its a pretty good controller for the price but did not last nearly long enough for me. Elite is way better in my opinion, plus you can customize it a lot more for certain games,
To anyone who has it could one be able to take off like the paddles Separately like can I have just one paddle on or does it have to be all on
Same question bro!
Only downside is the headphone jack. I have turtle beach headphones with the little adapter thing.
I'm thinking of buying it because I have bought normal xbox controllers and have gotten drift will these controller get drift?
Man it’s hard to justify dropping $200 on the series 2 pro controller when this thing just doesn’t have bad reviews. Plus I keep hearing the Series 2 has sticky button problems.
Hi im looking into buying this controller but i just have one question. Is it possible to remove some of the paddles? Im just asking because i only use the bottom two paddles and having the other 2 just sitting there is slightly annoying.
Great video! I've a question, are the thumbsticks the same as Xbox controller? If i broker them, can i substitute them with originale Xbox ones?
Hello I have a question,
The PowerA spectra enhanced has matte bumpers and triggers, so it has a little grip on it. Are the bumpers and triggers on the Fusion Pro matte or glossy?
1:50 they are glossy mate
@@Lurkai thank you. Do you own the spectra enhanced controller?
What type of charging cable is it? I've seen mixed reviews on whether you can even replace it with a normal micro USB, and some have said that there isn't even a replacement available.
wait do u need the cord in at all times when gaming??
Unfortunately yes
