All Gamesir has to do is make a 4 back button, clicky trigger, hall effect controller with their level of quality, and they immediately put a dent into the pro controller/custom controller market. That breaks the 'meta', and I think they will actually do it at some point.
Make one like that for $70 and one wireless with same refresh rate at $100 and it is the insta goat. Trigger stops would be cool too. I actually love the back button locks on my g7se for rocket leage

@olytorres4499 I'm not sure. 500hz/2ms works fine on console, but iirc it disables the mic functionality on the controller until you set it back to 250hz (at least on console). I haven't tested the mic on pc, and I haven't tested the 1000hz/1ms mode on any of the consoles.
After 3 xbone controllers failed on me, I made the leap to an elite series 2. Stick drift day one out of the box. I was pissed. Naively, I exchanged it instead of returning it, however, the spirit of Phil Spencer must've been watching over me since the replacement has been going strong for over a year now, which is an eternity in the elite controller world from what I've gathered. Elite 2 would be perfect if they hadn’t cheaped out on components. I went through two in about a year and on both the bumpers started failing: first one after about eight months and the second one after only ten weeks of semi-daily use. I have a Vader 3 pro arriving today, sorry Microsoft, you really dropped the ball with Elite 2
I had 2 Gamesir G7 SE's and both got the bad grinding on the left thumbstick at the top where it meets the anti-friction ring. I decided recently to try another one and this new one does not have the grind at all so maybe they fixed that but I can say that it is an awesome controller. Highly recommend.
Speaking as someone who only plays fighting games; the octagonal gates on the Gambit, and Pro BFG also from Victrix, are THE selling point for a fighting game pad. No one else is offering them for PC, Xbox, or PS controllers. Additional buttons, trigger stops, low latency, etc. are pretty much common place and while those are all fantastic features of a 'pro' controller, absolutely nothing beats the confidence you get during a combo than being able to securely slam the analog stick into one of those 8 beautiful corners. If you prefer a leverless or traditional arcade stick for fighting games, or you're playing anything other than a fighting game or classic arcade title, then you won't find them useful.

The first was the right thumb stick breaking off... this was fixed with a toothpick (no im serious) widdled down to the perfect size and then shoved into the hold where the joystick broke...Still works really well. But the second breakage was the left bumper. Idk what happened but now it rattles and isnt staying properly attached to the controller anymore. Still works kinda
Yes that controller is really well but the company spent most of their attention on the inside of the controller and how fast it is instead they should have spent more attention on the durability for it

I'm almost 2 years in using my Gambit with all 4 backbuttons. Essentially replacing the facebuttons for me in all shooters. I agree the top buttons placements are a bit awkward, but they still feel great for detachable buttons tbf. LB/RB breaking too easily is really my only gripe.

You're missing the best budget Xbox/PC controller. Which is called the "Snakebyte GAMEPAD PRO X" that has both Hall-effect Triggers and thumb sticks along with hair trigger stops and two remappable back buttons all for just $80!!!
Flydigit Apex 4 has solved the gradual loss of centering due to the spring loosening with its "flat bar return to center" mechanism. And it has hall sensors too. So, I believe it's the first pad to have solved the stick drift on the sensor and the mechanical level!

I have the G7 SE. For the first few months of owning it I really enjoyed it! I installed a pair of Kontrol Freek thumb grips on my controller (Playstation version of the thumb grips not the xbox version) and it worked for everything I wanted it to work with! That was until a week ago (got the controller in november 2023) when the A button stopped responding. Because this issue was most likely just a dirty contact on the board and it was super easy to get down to the thumb stick modules for cleaning I figured that I could do the same with the A button. Thanks! Was just looking for a budget controller. Albeit got my Brook Wingman XB2, and testing my old trusty dualshock PS4 on my Xbox Series S. Buttons on the DS is much better, but after your review, i need to look into Gamesir 😊
ty for introducing me to the controllers, watching the whole video 🙏
thanks for making this video, it helps a lot
Great video I also recommend game sir I just randomly bought the kaleid controller with rgb and for $50 you get alot of bang for buck great controller do yourself a favor buy one you won't be disappointed
Thabk for the thorough review. I also appreciate your work with Thin Lizzy. ;)
vCuda, thank you so much for this helpful review! Gamesir g7 se purchased on your affiliate link - no brainer there!
I actually really like the powerA fusion pro 3, good customer support imo (had one replaced quickly), good case, can use the faceplates from previous models, I mainly like the back buttons more then any other controller I've tried.
But also got it for like $60 on sale and it does have software.
Another dope video bro, But can you let us know about the Gamenetics controllers? Looks really good and it comes with 4 clicking back buttons and triggers. It would be a dope video cuz no one has talked about it in here
Hello Hemi v Cuda
My wolverine ultimate is still working, I have 8bitdo pro 2 now too.
Great review, appreciate it!
Bought a g7 se and a LLTGEM case for travel could not be happier
Jacket still looks FRESH! Better late than never right!! 👏
@vCuda The go to controller everywhere cheap I own over two hundred Power A Spectra Infinity and one Spectra Advantage-Lumectra
Love ya work mate
Awesome video. The xbox one controllers would always fail on me in about 1 year. But, the xbox series x controllers have been perfect. I haven’t had one break yet & I game online alot.
Great video my man, really helpful and definitely sold on the Gamesir G7!
wait for flydigi vader 4 pro. 80$ for pro controller with all the features and unable to get stickdrift
@@harunoderso that's amazing. I'd like to know what the build quality is. BTW, I'm loving the G7!!!
@@peacebestill439 I bought it and it is amazing, would recommend
Surely one of the most useful videos you've put out. Thanks for the content and keep hanging on dude ♥
Great video man. Good to see you doing what you love. I heard in the comments you have a video coming out for PS controllers, but I was also wondering if you’d be interested in doing a video for universal (PC, Android, Switch) controllers. I’m a pc guy trying to turn my rig into a console-like experience (smart tv, router, moonlight, etc.) but so far I haven’t decided on a controller. Appreciate it, keep up the good work!
Bro, I fucking love the Marty McFly 2015 jacket bro
What a comeback! Thanks Cuda!
When does the high end controller video come out?
No gamesir T4 kaleid??? I’m confused because I thought you said it was like a better version of the g7 and g7 SE…
Sorry I'm 2 hours late to this. I haven't slept yet so I'm gonna come back to this when I wake up. Big ups man.
ok fully watched. solid video
These videos are great ! I bet if you were to scale back some of the language you would transcend all markets . It’s not selling out it’s selling up .anyways thanks for the good work and enjoyable content .
I can say I have used Power A to Scuf controllers. All of these controllers have broken in one way or another in less than 6 months( I play a lot of FPS games). The Gamesir after 6 months and 1000s of hours of warzone. All buttons still work and no stick stick drift. If they made pro version of this controller with trigger stops and 4 paddles I would purchase it right away.
Thank vCuda for the original recommendation of gamesir.
is your gamesir an SE ?
@@DhafinSalman the G7 se
Still using the victrix gambit from launch with 0 issues only downside is I don't get to shop for pro controllers
Everybody talking about the flydigi apex 4... have you heard of it? Great video btw!
Always nice watching your videos bro 😎 keep up the amazing work ✌🏼
amazing video as usual, can you make a detailed video on the FlyDigi Apex 4?
Plan on it!
i agree 100 % i have owned all these controllers and the g 7 se is by far the best one!
How is the gamestr g7 se long term?
Thank you for being the best channel on TH-cam for this content.
I was surprised that t4 kaleid from gamesir is not on this list, its the best controller ive ever had and is basically the best parts of the g7 and g7se.
