Excellent👍🏾To peel your garlic fast, press the flat side of a large knife against your garlic clove on a flat surface - the action crushes it and makes the skin come right out. You can also shake rigorously in a covered aluminum/stainless steel bowl. I love making my garlic and ginger paste, definitely saves alot of time. Thanks for sharing! 🧡Sholz

Hi…. I’m worried- I made the garlic paste and it turned brown after a couple of days…. Pls do you have any idea why or what I doing wrong? I did it again… and the same thing! I tired vegetable oil and then changed to olive oil… the same thing.
Use a food processor and the trick of adding oil is what gives it the creamy texture. If your blender gives you smooth texture, you can achieve similar result.
When I first saw this I thought it would be the powdered form and not the liquid. Everyone can do this but not everyone knows how to do the powder method
Adding the oil and salt helps it get creamy as well as helps to be a natural preservative, thank for those very important tips.
I usually make a paste of both together (with a pinch of turmeric like I learned from an Indian lady ) but will try your method. Saves so much time!
Yeah definitely every indian recipie has this ginger garlic paste for us ..even in meat , chicken , vegetables gravies too
Simple easy steps.....nice Job
The blender looks beautiful as well
Thanks for sharing. I use blunt knife or spoon to peel ginger so not too much comes off with the skin.
Thanks for sharing. God's blessings always.

How long does it stay fresh?
I made this. What should I use it for?
Sauces, seasoning, literally to everything 😂
What if I need to preserve paste for drink mix..I certainly can’t use oil or salt…what is an appropriate preservative 🤔
I would suggest you put in the freezer and you can turn yours to ice cubes for easy use.
