Edge booster is best for 4c hair. I use the one that is designed for thick and course hair in a pink container. You definitely need to start with moisturized hair ! It works trust me 😌

Wet your hair with water and put leave in conditioner then try the Eco style olive oil gel and the prostyle black gel, tie your hair down with your head cloth for maybe an hour or so and see if that works.... My hair works great with them products, if I only use Eco gel it won't last long so I use two gels and that last all day and even the next day with a small touch up... Try it and let me know how it works ☺️
I usually use the gorilla snot gel and top it off with the got2b gel to slick my hair and I always get a lot of flaking. But it does HOLD your hair for days! To get rid of the flaking, I usually take a cotton swab, put some hand sanitizer on it and run it over the flaky parts and the flakes will go away.

Omg the ampro styling gel holds down my hair (on stretched hair) good for a good 3-5 days. You can top it off with a holding spritzer or a stronger holding gel like edge booster (beware leaves white residue but has great hold). But I like ampro because it’s not drying, has great hold and my hair feels soft on wash day and not hard and stiff. Wow I’m surprised you didn’t like ampro for your holds. Maybe try again, stretch your hair out dry and use a lot. Then top it with the got 2 b glue gel that has a stronger hold. I have fine, 4c hair.

I have 4c hair and it’s thick and I notice that each eco gel curls my hair different. The flaxseed eco gel is like water to my hair. I prefer the original, olive, or Argan eco gel.

Tishaya Thompson listen i have really tight stiff fro type curls, extremely hard to tame and if nothing else.. got 2 b glued spiking glue will hold down any type of hair. I’ve been using it for over 13 years wayyy before anyone other than guido Italian boys used it. It was the only thing I could find that would lay my hair down when baby hairs was in around 2002-2007. Till this day it’s the only thing that will hold through rain, humidity and when I’d go to the beach. You can literally swim with it and restyle your hair afterward and it’s like you just added it. Every other gel I would need to use with a blow dryer.. this one dries super fast.. four or five strokes with a soft bristle brush and it’s stiff. I didn’t know any other ethnic girls that could lay their baby hairs without them curling up back in ‘04.. It was my secret weapon, and if I never found got 2 b glue, the gorilla snot I found in the dollar store the first time matches up well. They still sell it in any dollar store in NYC and it’s the only dollar store gel that ever compared to got 2 b. It’s better for when you want a more natural look when you have extremely hard to tame curls cause it isn’t stiff as got 2 b. Got 2 b is literally the consistency of glue while wet and when dry. It also has a sticky after film.. so wrap a scarf around it before laying down. Gorilla snot is better for a more natural feel and quicker wear out. Got 2 b gel is in between both in my opinion.
I alternate blue eco style gel , and orange jam with Cantu water and oil mixed wave brush and durag and I just use a little bit you have to train your hair

I think people forget that the concept of the gorilla snot gel is to literally have the consistency of snot which is why it's sticky and stretchy lol
I use Let's Jam extra hold with the orange cap. It's conditioning and doesn't dry out my hair. It hold better that the Shine Gel.
Gummy Gel is also an amazing gel for all hair textures. I’m 4C and I use that. 👌🏾.

I have 4c hair and it’s thick and I notice that each eco gel curls my hair different. The flaxseed eco gel is like water to my hair. I prefer the original, olive, or Argan eco gel.

@@rosiesnipes9353 diet is huge. Protein, omega 3, leafy greens. Determine what you eat that causes inflammation and either stop or cut down. I suggest Dr. Eric Berg. He’s a chiropractor and has a channel here on TH-cam. He was Gods answer to my prayers.

THANK YOU! I’ve been using the eco styler and it’s slicks down my hair BUT not well like I’ll have little stubborn clumps of hair stand back up and I’ll have to apply a hand full of the gel just on that small clump to hold it down so I’m definitely going to try the gorilla glue and got 2 b
Tishaya Thompson listen i have really tight stiff fro type curls, extremely hard to tame and if nothing else.. got 2 b glued spiking glue will hold down any type of hair. I’ve been using it for over 13 years wayyy before anyone other than guido Italian boys used it. It was the only thing I could find that would lay my hair down when baby hairs was in around 2002-2007. Till this day it’s the only thing that will hold through rain, humidity and when I’d go to the beach. You can literally swim with it and restyle your hair afterward and it’s like you just added it. Every other gel I would need to use with a blow dryer.. this one dries super fast.. four or five strokes with a soft bristle brush and it’s stiff. I didn’t know any other ethnic girls that could lay their baby hairs without them curling up back in ‘04.. It was my secret weapon, and if I never found got 2 b glue, the gorilla snot I found in the dollar store the first time matches up well. They still sell it in any dollar store in NYC and it’s the only dollar store gel that ever compared to got 2 b. It’s better for when you want a more natural look when you have extremely hard to tame curls cause it isn’t stiff as got 2 b. Got 2 b is literally the consistency of glue while wet and when dry. It also has a sticky after film.. so wrap a scarf around it before laying down. Gorilla snot is better for a more natural feel and quicker wear out. Got 2 b gel is in between both in my opinion.

I alternate blue eco style gel , and orange jam with Cantu water and oil mixed wave brush and durag and I just use a little bit you have to train your hair
