Did you sign over your title to the car when the carrier came to pick up the car? And, from the time he took the car and you got a check from VROOM, how many days passed? Thanks. It is somewhat a worry selling the car to them just based upon email, so your comments greatly appreciated.
worried about the paperwork. Offer was great, but seems like they can change it via legal documents, which is bs. Please let me know how this went. I got offered a really great offer and I am worried they are going to low ball the f out of me.
Was the check the same as the appraisal? I want to know if the appraisal is the actual check they give once they pick up the vehicle. I’m looking into selling my car.
Update I used Vroom the process was easy and quick, everything took about a week, the cam evaluated my car took it to the facility and with in 4-5 days they paid my car off. I recommend Vroom to anyone seeking to pay of Finance/lease/selling your car…
Vroom gave me a fair offer for my car the problem I have is they want me to sign these documents, pick up my car and my signed title and send me the check in a couple days. This makes no sense to me because possession is 9/10's of the law, I would be at their mercy waiting for my check and they could low ball me once they have my car and title.... Somebody help me if I am missing something in the process!..... Last note nobody answers the phone or has called me back!... ps I would prefer to send the title to them the same day after my check is in my hand! Does Carvana do the same process?.....

Vroom does have offices, several buildings and different departments, buyers, sales, etc. PS the problem with California, is simple vroom uses different transportation companies and they don't want to pay a difference price from LA to Stafford TX than Bay area(San Francisco, Sacramento) to Stafford TX and that causes transporters not want to pick up cars from northern CA
@@JakobieHer Yessir! I been knowing vroom since way before they were vroom, also transporters don't want to move cars for them for other simple reasons such as, The cars they sell, they're used cars, most of them with 20-30k miles, and or 2-3 years of road use. The buyers, for some odd reason(maybe vroom leads them to believe) are always expecting a new car. Any small scratch dent or ding in the vehicles, even if they're not caused by the transportation company, vroom tells the customers to have it fixed, and that they're(vroom) going to pay for it, but vroom bills the transportation companies. There's a condition report at the time of pick up, but vroom doesn't wants a BOL(bill of lading) which has all the imperfections for said vehicle marked. Something about, if drivers mark everything that's noticeable, at delivery the customers will see the BOL and go straight to assess the possible damages. When vroom takes pictures to post them on their site, they have a studio with a thousand lights on the cars and pictures are taken at around 15-20 feet away, scratches on a lighted car like that can't be seen. On another note, they for the most part have good vehicles, not many are bought on auctions, but they do sell a lot in them. They're good with their warranty and they'll even go a bit longer than the 7 days or 250 miles( depending on the issue and the agent). So the story here about vroom not responding on that delivery day to take a return seems out of place and unlike vroom. In conclusion, people are buying used cars, they get to test drive it for a week, if they don't like it at the end of that week they can return it and will only be short $500. And some times customers buy cars from vroom at way lower prices than at the dealerships. And no vroom will never sell a car that has a salvage title or that has been in any accidents and they don't sell vehicles that have been on any floods. Cheers 🍻
So I'm selling my car to vroom, my loan is with a different bank then my actual bank. Will they pay off my loan and then send me the difference? I didn't give them my actual bank account info
Vroom currently isn't buying right now, unless it's for a trade. buy usually if there is positive equity from the offer they would send you the difference, if negative you'lll owe Vroom the difference before pick up (:
You pay the difference first and then they pay off your loan with your bank or which ever loan you went with. The bank will send the title to the Vroom after that.
I believe I kept one set and sent the other set with the signed paper work. This was about year ago so my memory isn't all there. The instructions may have changed, but be sure to just follow the instructions given.
Hey man, we are selling our car to Vroom. It does ask us to sign the e-sign paperwork send out the Title. Did you send out the title too? Is the step required?
I didn't send out the title, because my bank still owned the vehicle. I signed an agreement that once I paid it off, the bank/loan will send the title straight to them instead of me. But in your case if's paid off and you have/own the title them yes I believe so.
@@JakobieHer I really enjoyed your video bro, one question though, will small scratches bring the value down of the car?, I'm selling my Accord 2015 in 2 days and I don't really know what to expect as my car is in good condition but I has few scratches at the front area. Appreciate your help bro, keep doing the good work.
They paid off your remaining balance on your loan and gave you the difference direct deposit to you bank? Thank in advance
Correct.

same question here
My lender holds on to my title, once it got paid off, they send it straight to Vroom.
Does anyone know if the person whio owns the title of the vehicle have to be there?
Once they pay off your car, the lender sends your title straight to Vroom.

I'm in the same situation. Great offer but worried they will low ball me once they have the car
The offer was firm and I got paid out what was on the contract.
I’m in the process but I don’t think I’m going to go forth. My car has a couple mods I’m afraid they’ll reduce my appraisal once they get the car
You want to make it look as stock as possible.

Um, I mean, don't you think he would say the actual payment wasn't consistent with the offer....Sounds like a logical conclusion
Yes the check was as what they appraised my truck.
@@JakobieHer they gave you a check when you still owed money on it
@@zurielthompson6420 they send the lien holder what is owed and they send you the difference
Did they inspect your car before they took it? If so, what did their inspection entail?
The person that picks it up will inspect it.
Thank you, I’m in the process of seeking my car to Vroom and I didn’t know what to expect but now I do again thank you
Let me know if you need anymore info.
How long did it take for your bank to payoff your car?
@@melo5332 after they picked it up and it got to its destination in Texas, about two days later.
Did you clean your car before they picked it up? And did you have negative equity?

Was the check the same as what they offered you?
YES
they price was guaranteed? did they change the price after they receive the truck?
The price was firm.
So did you have to pay anything on the remaining balance or did they offer you more than what you owed on the truck?
Sorry didn't see this until now. I paid Vroom the remaining of what I owed like $400 and they sent out a check and paid off the full loan.
Ah gotcha! Thanks! ☺️
Do I need to take off the license plate or the carrier is doing it for me?

Did you have to get the fedex’ed docs notarized? Or use any sort of verification?
They ship all the documents overnight. They also give you shipping label to return as well.
So they paid off your loan ?
Yes! I paid the difference I owed and they paid the rest.
Did you give them both keys at pickup or you sent one before via fedex?

Depends how you filled out your car/truck information.

That makes sense, sounded like the person was outside. It be nice if they have a live chat for questions, hard to understand them sometimes.
