I’m investing in equity since oct,2020 and i see major bull run and sideways market.. so i learn alot.. earlier i used to do only fundamental analysis and sometimes i pick good stock but lack of technical skill made me wrong decisions.. now from past 3,4 month i started learning technical analysis.. it made me better entry and exit point.. now I’m move from long term investor to swing trader.. and also planning to trade in future.. and i saw your video.. Good presentation. Didn’t get how you chose the momentum stocks within the sector. It is easy to say it in retrospective. How do you select them for instance, if there is going to be a break out now in the sector?
Better to go for stocks and use 52 week high scan. Then look at which sector stocks are more show up . Leaders breakout fast before the index buy on pullback.

thank you for detailing sector wise selection a common sense basis which is not so common. you are using for demo purposes tradingview. are you actually using tradingview? i am trading on zerodha and the tradingview they offer does not have the full features of tradingview. can you name some brokers who adopt trading view as it is without any pick and choose or tinkering? i.e. those brokers who offer tradingview as such without any omissions

Options can be used as a hedge for futures positions. The challenge with stock option is liquidity and option selling works better and lot safer than buying, also during expiry week stock options are so difficult to manage ... so i use options for index and stocks futures hedging.
The same works when we short on markets or sectors right?

Hello Saketh, That was awesome , I have been following the same from last two months after you shared the view on IDFC First bank. Would you hedge the position with Option if so which strike you choose and please tell us how to rollover the position. as well As per my experience hedge is giving the more confidence to hold the position and we can happily sleep without tension :). Thank you so much for the video which gives me more confidence.
When you plan a stop loss and if you are willing take the hit, no need to hedge
If the quantity is very high it's better to hedge
Also please mention the Risk management you follow, how much risk per trade you take in percent of your total capital

Hi, this strategy what you are proposing is for Futures right, and in Futures you cannot hold for more than 3 months right? Also if we take equity trade as swing trade, can we place stoploss for the same?
Just exit before expiry and buy next month future
Is it better to choose near expiry or far??
Only far... Because charge is little high but u eill get much time
How to ride the momentum by taking entries..Example future expires monthly right
you can roll over (close current month and take fresh position for next month) or directly enter into next month expiry allowing you 7 or 8 weeks .. keeping beyond this will not work well unless it is a one way movement ..
