Bhel stock is up 8days in a row. A red candle was around the corner.Journally in indian markets stocks moves 3-4 days up and then there isa pause or some retracement before it goes up further. There are few exceptions that keep going up but we cant rely on them. We need to look for majority.

Well i've nothing more to say but to ask you, why not taking entries on retracement where R:R is more favorable compared to BO where keeping SL is on a bit tough side, think about it - made close to 20% in Hindcopper in just 2 days doing retracement trade.

In option, trading , I thought we need to do adjustment to make profits. Later I realize adjustments are the worst part of option trading. To make trending side no loss, we will sell more without checking the risk reward of adjustment. If any reversal after adjustment will wipe out capital. The blue line will destroy. Only a hit and leave strategy will be helpful.

Great video, Saketh! Lot of lessons in this. I think we need to take few options positions when we take Futures position. Avoid holding a stock on result day. Also, avoid trading on big events like Election Results, Budget, US policies etc., if we have then we need to hedge for a gap up / gap down .. now a day swings are high more than 2 to 3 percent and hits stop losses easily. Also, position sizing, you have identified all good stocks, which are about to break out but economic and social conditions has to be favorable. For eg., next week as a contra call, IT might go up but not sure about Ashok Leyland, it depends on whether those comes under BJP ministry or coalition ministry .. instability in govt is going to cause more pain in coming days.

Isn’t hedging futures equivalent to option buying?

No it's not in index options you can buy options that are 2-3 months away but in stock options put options months away are illiquid. If you buy near term options then you'll lose money due to thetha. If it's an intraday trade then futures+put is equal to a call but in swing it's not like that always especially in stocks

Perhaps you should Trade after a Pullback, instead of Braakouts, or Hedge your Long Future with Long PE

Traders trading in Futures have no future

Thanks for sharing this, Lessons learnt # Your breakout trading strategy is totally wrong. You got 1 trade by fluke. Breakouts usually fail since they create bull trap or bear trap; History never repeats. The same set up need not always results in profit; Never follow news, exit polls etc. Consult your chart only; Like if you agree with me❤

Yar i respect you.. You've achieved the one could not even imagine but your trades doesn't make any sense, on election day (the biggest event) when market is opening at ATH, how can you take the trades on b/out? Not able to digest this thing..

You are redeculas if you want to do such high trades dont do breakouts , why you are trading in 5 min candles. Always take trades where you can manage peacefully. The problem with breakout is , operators are highly manupulate in breakouts. 90 percent will fail or it will give you feeling it will fail

Even the experienced traders get trapped at break out.
    They come bqck soon strong.
Inexperienced traders get broken down and stop trading.
