Your so lucky to be able to travel to Japan at this time as I know other people just can’t catch a flight to Japan because of Covid. So beautiful where the ponds are. Nice koi!
Amazing that some of those shiro utsuri are still almost entirely white. Omosako KF has completely changed my perspective on what to look for in high-quality shiro utsuri and NOT to buy young shiro utsuri with sumi that develops too fast, but to instead be patient.
I can't wait till my koi get this big. I started an indoor pond with my mother 2 years ago and my largest koi is about 10 inches id guess. Not big and majestic yet.

Exactly, I was amazed how many havent even gone close to finishing. Being Year 4, and looking almost entirely white is oddly amazing.

Yaaa first
I want to know more about omosako koi farm, because in Indonesia the shiro utsuri always dominates the champion
Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
In my place, sumi is easy to appear without having to periodically give color pellets, only shusui is quite difficult to maintain color
🐟☺️👍
How deep koi mud pond in japan?
Some are more than 4 meters deep
