Over the last few years, I have entered into the realm of fish keeping. Ultimately my goal is to enter into the realm of keeping Koi! I am learning all I can about Koi before I begin the amazing journey of keeping Koi! The Koi Partner's videos are excellent in providing background and ideology surrounding these incredible creatures!
This is almost a commercial for serious koi enthusiasts but wow, I've never seen so many beautiful koi! I grew up in Hawaii and in the Ala Moana shopping center they had koi ponds, and when I was little, the koi were small, and as I grew, they grew. There were ones I got to know individually, and I liked to think they got to know me. Also, one time my mother and I sat on some grass by a pond that had koi in it (not Ala Moana center, another place) and my mom had her foot kind of close to the water, and a koi came up and tried to swallow her toe! It was so funny! Koi are so beautiful and adorable!

I love seeing koi fishes whenever I get into the fish store , but this one ☝️ really delighted me even watching for almost an hour . It gives you enough perspective on what can you have in mind while watching this . Amazing I could say , never had seen as big as this one ,never even thought that they can grow bigger . I wish American documentaries would be more like this. This is so peaceful and calming to watch all the beautiful fish and scenery. No fake manufactured drama just to get peoples attention

For some reason, I find it very satisfying seeing people lift up the fish gently from underneath with the koi not struggling too much. Maybe because so many other images of people holding/catching fish are much rougher and more chaotic (fishing for consumption, for example). I love how people get attached to these fish. We had one year in a Chinese public garden where a river otter got in and took many of these very old and specifically beloved fish.
Koi truly are 'Swimming Jewels'. Magical, too. Watching Koi swim in a pond releases all tension from a person and the cares of the day, slip away until you're surrounded by a sense of peace and serenity.
What a delightful & informative video. These KOI are stunningly beautiful. I can't imagine how much hard dedicated work it takes to accomplish these amazing fish. Thank you so much for making this possible for the rest of the world to share.
Gorgeous! I finally finished my 21 ft pond, I don't have any Kohaku yet, got Sanke and Showa and some Doitsu and Metallics, just need a beautiful Kohaku.

I love koi fish!!! I fell in love with the kois the 1st time a saw them swimming in a koi pond and from ever since I wanted a koi pond. Hopefully I will have one soon with lots of beautiful koi fish. Thanks for the vedio its was very inspiring and full of information.

I worked in a shopping center in Florida. There was a koi pond in front of our store. I would come to work early in the morning so I could spend time watching them. They were so sweet. They would come to the surface and nibble on the food.
The respect and gentleness of this video is stunning. Thank you for sharing. In future videos you might point out exactly what makes one koi better or more acceptable for show.
