Yes coconut oil is prone to clog your pores...it has the highest #comedogenic rate of 4
I suggest u use #Babasu Oil instead especially for the face(it has a comedogenic rate of "0" & it light on the skin) unlike coconut oil

You basically create your base based off of what products you want to make, say face cream or body cream. There are also general base creams you can make for everything. It's all in the ingredient composition
