They came that way back in the 50's.
The hash mark emblems on the front fenders are upside down.

Why didn't they paint the engine compartment?
Really? I think it looks good. Hell, I'd drive it.
The whole body including the firewall and fender aprons should be dusk rose. NOT black like a GM car.
Either this was originally a black car or the previous restoration had the fender aprons and firewall painted black. WRONG!!! the WHOLE body is supposed to be the same color including under the hood and the underside of the car. The trunk material is also incorrect.
