The LGs are my favorite post-WWII Gibson acoustics. Even the ladder-braced LG-0s can be really good. Collings makes some Waterloo models in the same vein if you’re looking for modern versions.

You never fail to learn something new watching this channel. Before this evening, I didn't know the Gibson LG series even existed. That LG-3 is a GREAT little guitar.
I have my Grandpas 59 LG2. He bought new in 59. It’s what sparked my obsession.
I love ALL the sounds of this one, from the spooky coffin creak as it rose from it's case, to the jingly-buzz of it's treble section!
My god, I can't tell you how much I miss Mark!!!
I have a 1965 B-25N and it is an amazing little guitar. Robust, plays well, just the right
size and incredibly versatile. The sound is quintessential Gibson. If you ever come
across one, Mark, it would deserve to be shown on GOTD. The "L" series line is one
of the best Gibson ever made. From L, to LG, to B-25 they are wonderful guitars.
The history on that v is amazing dude !! Way to go mark treasure it man u deserve it man !! 😊

Love that guitar. Picked or strummed it sounds good to me. Played on the couch, so you put that in a nice room with good acoustics and it will do the business.
So clean......sounds great.......I always enjoy flat top Friday.......even though I don't get to watch till Saturday......👍👍

Love to see one of those Strats with the flat top and binding. I know they’re a custom shop model now, but didn’t make a bunch of those as their own in-house super-Strats in the 90s? Maybe maybe that was when they made the squared-off ones without the binding.
I have a '47 and used a classical guitar case for it. And it really does sound like a J45 in a smaller form.

LG? Nice history lesson but surprised how much better it sounded fingerpicked than flat picked (great playing, btw). Almost sounded too compressed. Like it's not broken in yet. Still sweet.
I love this channel but Satriani!!!??? I think i mentioned him having one of those V's around the time i ordered my Airborne Again poster when that RI was GOTD. OK, read about it later like '88 but Yikes!!! Pretty Amazing!!! Extra Nice Score, Mark :)
