I first saw these GOTD videos about a year ago, so I haven't been watching since the beginning, but having been in love with vintage American made guitars for over 50 years now, I HAD to look through your channel to watch them all, over time. 500 is an amazing milestone. I've never waited on purpose to watch any live video, ever...but I'll see you tomorrow at 8:00pm, Eastern time.
Thank you Mark. Bubbles is so happy right now. I don't think he will be able to sleep tonight. There is a special place in heaven for people like you. Oh and he really liked the guitar.
I've taken the time to watch them all, just not in order lol. But I can say I've watched the last year in order, been here everyday. I look forward to tuning in everyday to learn about guitars and watch Mark rock. I love Guitar Of The Day. Thank you
Thanks Jen , Mark and Micheal, for the birthday shout out. ... It sucks but I’m beating cancer like a pro. Love you loads! # 499 One of the best episode (- . - )
I've been there since the beginning Mark and Jen. I go back and watch these things over just so I can hear you play the songs over again. Flat top Fridays are always my favorite. I prefer my acoustics over all my Electrics. I've always been a finger picker, Bluegrass lover at heart.
I didn't start at the beginning, but did go back and watch the earliest ones. Wow, what lovely pulsing resonance - crisp and deep and soulful - rare indeed - sounds like tubular bells or something that shimmers
By FAR, the finest guitar I’ve ever heard on your channel - and you have showcased many. Thank for giving us a listen to this beautifully aged artwork. Well played.
In the hospital recovering from a stroke and this video just makes me want to go home and play my guitar more than ever. I've been in here for a week and it feels like it's been a year. It'd make my weekend if you could do some Big Star on Saturday. O My Soul, September Gurls, Ballad of El Goodo, anything!
I have been watching around a year now, and am back watching the ones before me... I think this is THE BEST flat-top Friday I have seen to date. Amazing! Beautiful! #iWantIt Sincere & genuine thanks from me (in the UK) for sharing. Wow.
What a beautiful guitar! Mark you knocked it out of the park bringing that beautiful old lady's voice back to life from across the years. I'm getting up in the middle of the night to watch 500 live! Great cinematography Jen you did that fantastic guitar justice. Greetings to all at Norm's from across the pond
I didn't know about it when it began but since I found it I bet I have watched them all...Thanks to geekiness, nothing else as good to watch and autoplay. Thank you for entertaining and educating me!
Ive watched guitar of the day since day 1, ive been watching norms vidos for probably about a year before, and as far as i know ive never missed a day :)
I may not have seen all of GOTD episodes but I have seen many of them and this is the best ever. Great sounding guitar. Fantastic playing Mr. A! Fellini quality camera work by the lovely Ms. Jen! Thanks to you both!
Recently I've seen some other people do TH-cam videos from guitar stores and while those were all fine -- it makes it very clear how great Mark Agnesi is at this. He is a great communicator and is the host of my favorite TV show.
Easy to see Mark's total love for this guitar because when have we ever seen him continue to talk it up for that long after the final notes ring out? Bravo, sir!
Now that's why we tune in. Great freaking guitar, great song choices, incredible playing Mark and awesome camera work Jen. Also great history on the guitar. Wonderful episode. Thanks
Hey Jen, stellar camera work on song #1. Moving through the guitars, in & out of focus, gave a nice nuance to the video. It set a perfect mood to such a beautiful song on such an exquisite guitar. Good job!🎥 Oh yeah, and Mark plays pretty ok too. 😜
Wow! What a wonderful "common" acustic! Haha. Probably one of the best I've heard so far on the show. Mark's playing did this guitar justice. Well done!
save the best for last , one of your best efforts , beautiful playing Mark and some interesting camera work Jen a grade A cap to the 400's. love the tone on that guitar , just rings , amazing for a piece of wood that's nearly 90 years old , I can only dream.
I've been waiting for you to feature one of these. You got to love the ebony nut. I've been waiting several months for the 1933 OM-18 Shade Top Authentic VTS that I have on order. Hopefully, the tone will come close to this. Wow! Beautiful playing Mark!
Gorgeous guitar. Gorgeous tone. What it must be like to be able to afford such a beautiful instrument. Great playing, as usual, Mark. Fantastic camera work, Jen! I love it when you roll focus like that :-)
Wow! That just might be most amazing guitar I’ve seen on the show. Great song choices Mark, and great camera work Jen. Looking forward to 500 and many more!
Beautiful Mr. Agnesi. Jen did some fine work shooting the video, cool how she started the couch scene with those other guitar headstocks in the foreground .
Episode 499. The reason I follow this show is having the occasional opportunity to see these rare gems. Great episode!
That was pure magic, I’ve seen every episode and that may be the best yet. Well done ya’ll!

1) My Little Ballerina/Brent Mason
2) She Talks to Angels/Black Crowes
absolutely beautiful @markagnesi
Hi Jen 🎥🎸
Mike M. My little ballerina - Brent mason
Mike NOOOOO i was hoping you know the first song
If anyone knows Chris Hardwick (hey, it's LA, right?) tell him he needs to get Mark & Norm on The Nerdist/ID10T Podcast
This is the coolest “common” flattop in a while. Sounds sooo good. I’m guessing near 6 figures good.
What tuning is he In for she talks to angels

I think that's the best sounding acoustic ever on GOTD. It sounds Fantastic!
The best tone ever.
Every other is a copy. Martin.....the original dreadnought.
1930's Martins are amazing. I once played a 1934 OM-28 that I would've bought that day if I had $30,000 to spare
Thank you Mark. Bubbles is so happy right now. I don't think he will be able to sleep tonight. There is a special place in heaven for people like you. Oh and he really liked the guitar.
I think we need a video of bubbles watching guitar of the day episode 500. That would make my week.

I don’t comment often, but I’ve been hanging around since the beginning! Thanks Mark and Jen for educating us all on the finest rare guitars!
I'd almost be afraid to pick that up let alone play it. What incredible tone...incredible playing and love the camera work! Go 500!
Rock Hard Riffs No no no no no re the camera work. Omg. Keep it still, it ain’t about the camera, it’s about the guitar and the playing.

She’s GORGEOUS!! Nice work, Mark! See you tomorrow!
Recently I've seen some other people do TH-cam videos from guitar stores and while those were all fine -- it makes it very clear how great Mark Agnesi is at this. He is a great communicator and is the host of my favorite TV show.
