Custom Rear Suspension & DIY Trailing-Arms

- Welcome back to another video. I want to apologies for the length of the video, it was hard to condense a lot of the explanations. With that said, we did complete a lot from our custom rear axle trussing to the DIY trailing-arms and everything in between. The end result was beyond my initial expectations and I'm thankful our rear suspension is complete. With over 20"+ of travel, our new rear suspension should be ideal for the races to come.
Again, a huge shout out to Digging Deeper Racing and S&S Fab for the pure beef axles, I look forward to mocking up the front in the next video!

Dont apologize for video length....
Thanks, it’s hard to go over everything in a quick timeframe.
Don’t know if you remember from aop but I was the guy in the boot that talked to you after watching u roll tink twice I decided that building my jk into a 4600 might not be the best idea so started saving and have a tmr chassis and a crawler to pull from good luck and hope to see u at the races
That's awesome! I do remember and probably a wise decision if you wanted to keep the JK "clean". So far our chassis has worked out great, big enough for everything, yet compact. Best of luck with your build, excited for you. You'll have to come chat when we're done. Pushing to make a few races this year.
I like it! Go a little more in depth on tech if you can. Lots of us with the patience to watch want to hear link lengths, anti squat, shock mounting ratio on trailing arm, etc. keep it up!
I appreciate the feedback. I kept the rear links/trailing arm within 1" of each other for pinion angle. Knowing the squat properties of the chassis, our chassis side mounts ended up 16" in separation. Should equate to a pretty decent ride in the desert at high speeds but very capable in the Eastern Series races.
Nice trailing arm idea
Thank you. Just a cheaper alternative than buying kits that you still have to alter.
Bro, i love the legend build. Slow down though with your speech. You sound like youre always out of breath, and anxious. Breathe...
LOL, thank you for the follow and reminder. Trying to fit everything into the videos is rough. I appreciate the feedback.
hows the build going
It’s going well… definitely behind schedule but pushing hard. Starting the electrical and engine work this week. Will have some new content out soon.
who you trynna be with the beanie and glasses
Ha, I was blessed with poor eyesight and big ears. For some it’s a “style” but for me it’s just daily life.
