JUST FORGET your air awnings As a caravaner for 40 years . Just think about the heat in the summer time the cold nights IN WINTTER ECT, ECT ,!! Seen so many CARAVANERS ! Wish thay had never BOUGHT A AIR AUNNING JUST PLEASE THINK AGAING BEFORE PURCHASING , IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CARAVANING. ITS TAKES A LITTLE BIT MORE TIME FOR THE SET UP BUT WELL WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN ONE. BUT ITS FAR SUPERIOR. IN ALL WEATHERS. But Good luck guys in what ever you go for.
As we hire touring caravans we provide air awnings for ease rather than our customers having to navigate the traditional pole (divorce in a bag) awning. We provide this tutorial video to customers who have never put up or packed away an awning to assist them and they can watch before arriving at site and as a source of reference if they need to look back on it. We also advise our customers to adjust the psi according to weather conditions so as not to over inflate. With all types of awning it is always worth investing in those that have superior fabrics - a lesson we learned at the start of our business - buy cheap, buy twice! Our awnings are on hire week in week out with customers so have extremely high usage and we replace them every 3 years. In the 8 years of our business and with 12 Vango awnings, we have only lost 1 in recent storms. There are pros and cons to both pole and air but depends on the situation/usage of the purchaser so always good to research before buying.
Your camera man did show where the top of the side pole fitted into.
