Bowmasters is just insane. 2 mana gets you 2 vanilla 1/1s at flash speed in Resolute Reinforcements. But this makes 2 1/1s, AND 1 damage to any target AND punishes the opponent for drawing cards (and why not, it doesn't even need to be on the board, you can punish drawing at flash speed)... That's just stupid
Displacing the ring can actually be very profitable. Lets you draw 2 and reset the lifeloss 24:35 "As you cast" ≠ "As you copy" 27:28 Gandalf can't use the sane node twice, and it has a mode that puts it on top of the library.
@@damo9961 if something gets played in legacy and vintage it’s dang good. Those formats have been solved for the longest time and to see a new card slot into the format is great. There have been very few cards that I’ve been excited to play. The One Ring is one of them.
This video made me build and play my first alchemy deck. Can't find any ranked matches but I'm having a blast with it in play queue in a way I haven't felt since Ikoria rotated. Sheoldred + timetwister/ Ancestral recall wins happen way more often than expected. What a blast. Thanks for your work.

I have to say I love oracle of alpha and I kinda wish there was a way to make it work in paper for commander😂 Also I bet this deck would get even saltier with yorion in the deck and maybe even as the companion in historic!

28:15 and CGB knows he has lethal and can set off the clock paying 4UU but plays the ring instead. Not sure the same old trick was necessary instead of seeing the clock go off!

I think you could have just won the 1. match by playing the kitten and flickering the Ring. But its a cool combo as well as you didnt realized it though
because its a showcase event, he can play with the new card before release and he got a temporary account with all new card for this (with VIP after his name)

Probably scouting. It can be hard to tell how good a new deck is compared to your usual if everyone is also playing new decks... or maybe they just really like soldiers :D

The one ring is excellent, at worst it’s a slow ramping draw engine and at its best it’s a time walk that draws you a million cards

Baldur's Gate alchemy was amazing, at least as a draft set. I had so much fun with it, and I was really glad to get a break from New Capenna draft.
