● IMPORTANT NOTE:
The Note 10 plus, to my surprise, has an unusual poor video stabilisation at 1080p 60fps that I didn't see before when I used it for some camera comparisons last year. I've read in some forums that it appeared after a certain update (not sure which one). Apart from that everything works as expected.

The S23 Ultra is a great upgrade and I've heard about many people who've had their Note 10 models upgrade to an S23.. The Note 10 Plus does extremely well given it's 4 years old now.

The differences won't be as noticeable to an everyday normal user like myself. The fact that a 4 year old device is actually being compared to the latest n greatest shows that we have come to a point where there isn't so much going on techwise. A 4 year old device is just as great and in some cases even better.
Smartphones have evolved so much and even still, 12 gig ram on a note 10 plus is incredibly unbelievably.. Personally I'd have loved waiting to upgrade to the s24. But I'll keep the note 10 plus as long as its working fine.

If my Note 10 wasn't broken I would have waited for a better upgrade. I planned to wait for S24-26 Ultra because at that time, Note 10 will be as old as my Note 4 when I bought the Note 10. The performance difference isn't so big to me unless I play games that require a relatively high performance. I like the grip of S23 Ultra and this is the first time I have 120 hz phone and 5G. I also like how fingerprint scanner issue is also fixed, I heard it was since S21 Ultra. The cooling system is also a lot better, still hot in the Thailand's outdoor temperature though, but at least it doesn't get hot in bathroom. The things I like in Note 10 more are probably the weight, camera size, upper speaker, and vibration. I still like Aura Glow, but it was a fingerprint magnet. Cases cannot fix it entirely. I hope my S23 Ultra will live longer than Note 10 or even Note 4.
Yep, Note 10 plus can easily hold for another year or 2 even 3. Note 9 is still my all time favourite and my main phone for the most part when I wasn't testing other phones before getting the S23 Ultra. It even got the February security patch. Thanks for watching and stay safe.

Not really. What I've noticed is the sound recording from the microphones is slightly lower than in other Samsung's phones even the Note 10 plus, not sure why.
@stang3313 My note 10+ lcd just blacked out last week. Replying to you on my pc since I am still without a phone until now. I was thinking about ordering the S23 ultra today on the Samsung website for their promo this month in my country but decided to search for videos comparing the note10+ with the 23 ultra & found this channel. To tell you the truth, I really don't want to get a new phone & love the Note 10+ for sentimental reasons since it was gifted to me. The video above & your comment made me decide to just have the note10+ repaired, have the lcd replaced & wait a year more for the 24 ultra instead. 🙏
@@leonaj.5835 good luck with your Note 10+. Mine costed 10k฿ (~300$) to repair and had to wait for at least a week for a new screen to be in stock while I needed to use a phone at dormitory. My Note 10 is currently on my brother's hands.

Am i the only one dl thinks the Note 10 pics are better? Just got my S23 Ultra but think I may return. I'm not seeing $1200 of a difference lol.

Thanks for the excellent comparison! I still own my Note 10+5G and love it, but my main shooter now is the Fold 3 (another displaced unit). It's obvious that the S23 Ultra has better dynamic range with vids, but I found much of the still shots to have better saturation with the Note 10+! If I were still using my Note 10+ regularly, I think I would stick with it, compared to the Ultra with its ultra-high price (who am I to talk, carrying around a fold? LOL). I'll need to search your vids to see if you have any comparisons for the fold series. Thanks again.

The Note 10 Plus held it's own considering it's almost 4 years old.
I Loved my Note 10 Plus, but I'm glad I upgraded to the S23-Ultra & I haven't looked back since.
It's a great phone, but my only gripe is it doesn't have SD-Card support & the charging brick doesn't come in the box.
A phone that expensive should come with the charging brick.

My note10+ lcd is broken & thought about buying the S23 ultra but now I have decided to just have it repaired than retiring it. It was a gift from someone very important to me so it would make me really sad to just replace it if it can still be fixed. I am a basic person & not a techie so I don't need most of the features of the S23 ultra for everyday use, but I like & use the S Pen very much for my work. I will get a 2nd phone if in case the S10+ will finally give out & I think the coming S24 ultra would be a good choice for that. 🙏

Great video sir i just upgraded to the S23 from the note 10plus due breaking it. I never wanted to upgrade because I had the aura glow and I love the color of that year.when TMobile sent me my replacement note 10 plus it was a funky color not the same as what I had so it looked like just another phone ,the love was lost so I went to the Ultra and I'm In love again definitely much more premium all around and just the 5C g with the camera upgrade is amazing and I have a phone battery that last a long time again... Long live the Note 10plus you were loved

To be honest I didn't like the Note 10 plus when it came out but now, I really think it has aged very well and at its current price it's one of my favourite ones. Note 9 still my all time favourite though. Thanks for watching and stay safe

What settings did you use on the note 10+ at @5:53? My 1080p 60fps is also super shaky, especially with the super steady mode on.

It's very weird because the 1080p 60fps video stabilisation is on by default but it doesn't seem to work, it used to be very smooth as reflected in some of my previous videos last year it must have been affected by a certain update like I've read in some forums which is a shame. It looks like Samsung either is not aware of it or it doesn't care enough to fix it which is a shame. Thanks for watching and stay safe.

How's the nonwifi phone connectivity on that Note 10?
Several months ago a reviewer signified Samsung phones, including flagships, often having problems with the cellular phone signal disappearing after a year or two. Indeed, my S21 Ultra exynos has had this issue.
Really? I haven't experienced that to be honest. Except in some areas but I think it's because of the area. My Note 10 plus is absolutely fine though I haven't put my sim card in it but not a single issue with WIFI at home. Thanks for watching and stay safe.
@@Soto-Tech2020 wifi isn't the issue, its cellphone connectivity. When there's no phone signal and I have to access my cell service I go into Settings; SIM manager, just doing that might occasionally activate connection. When that doesn't work I restart the phone, but this also only works occasionally. Considering this is the primary function of a smartphone it's a serious problem that should be getting more attention.
@@collinleach Ah like I said I haven't put my sim card on the Note 10 plus this time but I haven't had that issue on any of my Samsung's phones except the occasions I told you before.
S23 ultra is such an improvement, although note 10 plus is still a beast of a phone. currently using it 😊

I am going through @Soto-Tek videos and assume he has large collection of Samsung phones, or a Samsung fan. The main thing I notice is, how the older models are not far behind in the photo and video. If I am correct, the Note 10+ and other phones of the era are on Samsung's final year of support. If the phone works well and the battery is holding good charge, I would hold on until next year. I just went from S20FE 5G to my S23 Ultra because I wanted better cameras, the June discount and free Buds 2 Pro promotion, the extra features.

Note 10+ has an f1.5 (!!!) / 2.4 camera vs f1.7 of s23. Difference looks small, but makes huge difference in the amount of light entering the whatever sensor. And having both as also s22 ultra, can tell that still frame photography on note 10+ is less computational, more real than newer models. At 2024 I will just buy one more note 10+. I just switched from Note 10 to S23. I'm find long distance detail - reading a license plate at a far distance - is much better on the Note 10.

@@Soto-Tech2020 Ultra zoom is great, yes. But the Note 10 capability I am talking about is taking a picture with no zoom and then being able to magnify/zoom after the picture is taken. S23 does not capture distant detail without zoom as Note 10 does.

I have a s10 and photos aren't that sharp and washed out faces are really soft compared to the s21 and beyond. Older flagships are still great tho

Atleast note 10 as better sky in video recording main camera..s23 wins in other aspects but not that much ...also note 10 is bright .while s23 they tried to lower the brightness for images to look more natural..also night mood s23 super🥰🥰 but both look good it depends on choice
For me don't upgrade yet, wait for a year or two. When you post photos from social media they don't pixel peep anyways, they just see and scroll nobodys gonna peep the clarity.

The Note 10 and Note 10 plus come naturally brighter. This makes pictures look excellent. I really want to downgrade my 20 Ultra to Note 10 plus but security patch will stop

I cant understand why Samsung stop update for Note 10 plus even my samsung A51 got android 13 version which was also announced in 2019
Because Samsung is losing the direction completely when it comes to updates. The Note 10 plus and other old Samsung's flagships are better phones than any of the A and M series phones including the A54 5G and therefore they deserve more updates. Thanks for watching and stay safe.

Hello!!! 23 is certainly not bad, but when shooting a video on the main camera, I liked the clouds in the sky more by 10. At 23, they are somehow not natural, as if they were painted. 10 is still good, so I will not change my 20+ to 23 ultra yet. Thank you for the video !!! 👍👍👍💯%

yes. clouds since the s20 series are missing some of the brillance / bright edges / highlights. in photos too. clouds are often yellow instead of white and appear to be in the shadows themselves. i have the s20 fe and it's already like that. however, it's gotten worse with the s23 series. therefore i use the google pixel software "gcam" adapted for the s20 fe for daytime. so i don't have the problem.
