  • This phrase, coined by Juvenal in the 2nd century, expresses the need to exercise both your mind and your body to live a happy life.
    But imagine you have time for just one activity this evening, either mental or physical. Which one would you choose?
    If you continue working or studying, you'll probably make progress, but not at the same rate you did in the morning. And your fitness level will decline.
    However, if you exercise, not only will your physical health improve. Your brain will also be healthier:
    -Your risk of stroke, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s will decrease.
    -And your mood, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities will improve.
    If you want to have a better brain, exercise every day.
